Attack on Titan 2 is an action game from Omega Force and Koei Tecmo, and a sequel to the 2016 title Attack on Titan. Players will once again don the Vertical Maneuvering Gear and fight the fearsome Titans which threaten the existence of humanity, but this time they can do battle in the role of their own custom scout created through the new Character Creation Studio.
Alternatively, if custom protagonists are not your thing, the roster now contains over 30 playable characters from the series. Compared to the game’s predecessor, there is also a greater freedom of movement, which will come in handy against the enhanced Titans from the Season 2 of the anime that you will face.
Reserving a digital copy of Attack on Titan 2 grants a bonus pack of plain clothes costumes, depending on the platform you pre-order for:
- Xbox One and Nintendo Switch: Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Christa, Ymir, Reiner, and Bertholdt plain clothes costumes.
- PlayStation: Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Christa, and Ymir plain clothes costumes; Mikasa, Eren, Levi, Reiner, Christa, and Erwin avatars.
Purchasing the game within four weeks after launch on any platform including Steam will grant a smaller bonus pack of plain clothes outfits for Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and Levi. Notably, the player’s custom character can also be outfitted in these costumes. And here they are in full glory:
Digital Deluxe Edition
The Digital Deluxe Edition is priced at $99.99, and includes a total of 20 additional outfits that will be released weekly after the game’s launch. It’s worth a note that every costume will be available for purchase separately as they come out. Furthermore, as the pre-order bonus costumes are stated to be “early release”, they are presumably a part of this 20 outfit pack as well.
Attack on Titan 2 will be out for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PCs via Steam on March 20, 2018.
