Horizon Zero Dawn is a PlayStation-exclusive action RPG developed by Guerrilla Games, the makers of Killzone. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by dinosaur-like machines which have evolved to become a part of the planet’s ecosystem. The remnants of humanity now live in primitive tribal settlements, hunting the robotic wildlife for their components.
The main character of the game is Aloy, a young woman who seeks to uncover the truth behind the fall of the ancient civilization. The game features a vast open world with no loading screens, and plenty of side-quests in addition to the main story.
Pre-order bonuses
All pre-orders of Horizon Zero Dawn come with the Nora Machine-Trapper Pack with modifications to increase the accuracy and damage of your weapon, and to add elemental resistances to your outfit. It also contains resources for crafting ammo and traps.
Additional retailer bonuses are listed below:
- GameStop: Nora Lookout Armor (better stealth) and Nora Longshot Bow (increased accuracy). Exclusive double-sided poster (16″ x 20″).
Digital Deluxe Edition
This digital bundle costs $69.99 and comes with these in-game items:

Collector’s Edition
The more expensive ($119.99) Collector’s Edition adds a statue, an art book, a Steelbook case, and two more Resource Packs:

- 48-page artbook by Dark Horse Comics featuring Horizon Zero Dawn concept art

After being delayed, Horizon Zero Dawn is now scheduled to launch on February 28, 2017.
