NASCAR Heat 2 is an officially-licensed NASCAR racing game developed by Monster Games and published by 704Games. Notable improvements over its predecessor include a deeper career mode with support for three NASCAR national series (Monster Energy, XFINITY, and Camping World Truck), upgraded graphics, and better physics including more realistic drafting. The game also offers an expanded online multiplayer with up to forty participants, and adds a new two-player split-screen mode.
All retail copies of NASCAR Heat 2 come with a $50 voucher that can be used towards a ticket to any remaining 2017 – and any of 2018 – NASCAR events at one of eight tracks owned by Speedway Motorsports. Pre-ordering is not necessary to take advantage of this offer, but the publisher does state that it will be available while supplies last, likely limited to first-run copies of the game.
Additionally, pre-orders at participating retailers will receive Kurt Busch’s #41 Daytona 500-Winning Paint Scheme depicted above.
NASCAR Heat 2 will be out on September 12, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam.
