Nioh is a samurai-centric action RPG developed by Team Ninja and published by Sony in the West. The game is set in a dark fantasy version of feudal Japan, where vile beasts and grotesque yokai roam the lands, and the country is torn by warring daimyo factions. The protagonist of the game is a Western swordsman William (inspired by the real-life story of William Adams) who arrives in Japan in pursuit of an enemy, and is recruited to battle yokai by the fabled ninja Hattori Hanzo.
Pre-order Nioh and receive in-game Nioh Armor, which is inspired by the ancient statues that stand guard at temples across Japan. In addition, instantly gain the “Bloody Grave” Dynamic Theme.
Furthermore, pre-ordering the game or buying it within two weeks after launch also grants Crimson Master Armor, based on the battle dress worn by legendary samurai Yukimura Sanada.
Digital Deluxe Edition
In addition to the game itself, the $79.99 Deluxe Edition adds the following goodies:
- Season Pass with three pieces of DLC containing extra missions and story
- Five weapons inspired by those found on Nioh statues across Japan
- PS4 Avatar
