GWENT, the strategic card game set in The Witcher universe, is getting its first expansion this month. Titled GWENT: Crimson Curse, it brings more than a 100 new cards – 31 neutral and 14 faction cards per faction – and includes new archetypes as well as status effects like Bleed or Poison.

While GWENT is free-to-play excluding the usual in-game purchases, players may buy the Crimson Curse pre-order pack for bonus goodies – more on those after the jump.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince Box Art

The three iconic heroes – Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Knight, and Zoya the Thief – join forces once again to rescue a young prince haunted by his own dark powers in Frozenbyte’s upcoming Trine 4. The game features varied 2.5D levels with challenging puzzles and foes, an expansive storyline, and a soundtrack by award-winning composer Ari Pulkkinen.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince can be tackled solo or in a co-op (local or online) with up to four people, with the puzzles scaling in difficulty depending on the number of players.

Tropico 6 Box Art

Tropico 6 is a construction and management simulator that puts the player into the role of a dictator of an island nation, and tasks them with building up the economy, keeping the citizens happy, and staying in power. It is the first entry in the Tropico series to be developed by German studio Limbic Entertainment.

New in Tropico 6 is the ability to manage an entire archipelago of islands, and connect them with bridges starting in later eras. The citizens are now fully simulated, each having their own life and expectations, resulting in a more realistic simulation.

Outward is an open-world action RPG developed by Nine Dots Studio and published by Maximum Games. The game aims to simulate the life of an adventurer in a grim and gritty fantasy world: the player character has to hunt, eat, sleep, and heal, their weapons and armor break, and magic spells, while powerful, require consumable components and extensive preparation. Furthermore, the game world is constantly saving, so the player has to live with bad decisions rather than reload.

Outward can be played solo or in co-op with a friend (both split-screen and online multiplayer are supported). There is no always-online requirement.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a fantasy-historical action-adventure game from Asobo Studio. Set in Dark-Ages France, it follows two siblings on the run from the Inquisition during the times of the plague.

Amicia, the elder, is a headstrong girl trained in the art of hunting by her father. Her little brother, Hugo, is afflicted by a mysterious illness and takes up all of his mother’s attention.

Despite having little contact during childhood, they will come to trust each other as they journey through plague-ravaged villages evading Inquisition soldiers and swarms of rats, joining forces with other children, and finding purpose in the brutal, unforgiving world.

World War Z Box Art

World War Z is a third-person co-op shooter for four players developed by Saber Interactive and published by Mad Dog Games. Based on the movie of the same name, the fast-paced game pits players against swarms of zombies in New York, Moscow, and Jerusalem.

World War Z features six classes with unique abilities and play styles, and supports both local and online co-op. For improved replayability, it uses procedural enemy and item spawning that is based on the players’ performance. In addition to cooperative PvE, the game also offers competitive PvP – or rather PvPvZ, as the players still have to deal with zombie hordes while completing objectives and battling one another.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is a strategic card battle game featuring over 350 characters from the entire Dragon Ball franchise. It is developed by Japanese studio DIMPS and published by Bandai Namco, and is the first title in the series to see a Western release.

The game is set in an alternate universe where the Dragon Ball card game is the most popular form of entertainment. When villains from the game suddenly appear in the real world and start wreaking havoc, it is up to protagonist Beat – a card player aspiring to become the world champion – to team up with famous Dragon Ball heroes and save the day. In addition to the single-player story, the game also offers local and online multiplayer.
