Torment: Tides of Numenera is an old-school RPG developed by inXile Entertainment and published by Techland Publishing. Halo Wars 2 is an upcoming RTS developed by 343 Industries and Creative Assembly, and published by Microsoft. The game is a part of the publisher’s Xbox Play Anywhere program, meaning owners of a digital copy of Halo Wars 2 can play it both on their console and Windows 10 PC.

Much like its predecessor, the game features two playable factions. In addition to the returning UNSC, there is a new alien faction called the Banished, which replaces the Covenant from the previous game. Halo Wars 2 includes a single-player campaign with 13 missions, co-op, and competitive multiplayer with several modes (Deathmatch, Stronghold, and Domination) for up to 3v3 players.

Adapted from the popular manga series Berserk, this M-rated hack-and-slash game follows lone mercenary Guts in his quest to take down every last one of the demonic Apostles. Armed with a vast array of different weapons, players can utilize them to their full potential against hordes of enemies in Dynasty Warriors style, one-vs-many battles. Berserk and the Band of the Hawk includes as many as eight playable characters (such as Griffith, Casca, and Schierke), each with their own different fighting styles.

For Honor is a hack-and-slash title developed by Ubisoft Montreal for Windows and current-gen consoles. The game has three factions – the Knights, the Samurai, and the Vikings – with four classes each, wielding authentic weapons and possessing distinct combat abilities.

According to its developer Arachnid Games, the Kickstarter-funded Diluvion is a Jules Verne inspired undersea adventure, where you play as a captain of your own submarine. Tales of Berseria is the 16th main entry in the Tales JRPG franchise. It is developed and published by Bandai Namco for the Playstation 4 consoles and Windows. Dishonored 2 is an action-stealth game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda. The upcoming game is a lot more futuristic than its predecessors: it takes place in a distant future where humans have colonized the solar system, and centers around a conflict between Earth-based United Nations Space Alliance and the Settlement Defense Front, insurgents who seek to control the off-world outposts. Titanfall 2 is a first-person shooter which, like its predecessor, is developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA. New to the game is a full-fledged single-player campaign, telling the story of a lone Militia rifleman stranded behind IMC enemy lines and teaming up with a with a veteran Vanguard-class titan against overwhelming odds.

As expected, most of the focus still remains on the multiplayer, where the developers are bringing six mech classes, improved customization, additional modes, and new pilot abilities including a grappling hook which adds extra mobility to the already fast-paced gameplay. Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter set in World War I. It is developed by EA DICE and runs on their proprietary Frostbite engine, which supports DX12. Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is an upcoming installment in Firaxis’ highly popular turn-based strategy game series. It uses the same hexagonal grid as its predecessor and brings back many mechanics introduced in Civ 5’s two expansions such as religion, trade routes, archaeology, and tourism.

The numerous changes brought by Civ 6 include multiple-tile cities with districts in which improvements are built, the ability to group certain units together (such as a warrior with a settler), active technology research that rewards exploration, and more. Some of these improvements should make the game less tedious: for example, workers are replaced by builders, which create improvements instantly, but have a limited number of charges and disband upon finishing their tasks.
