The latest expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online adds Vvardenfell: the main island of the Morrowind province, and the largest new zone yet. As the game is set 700 years before the single-player title The Elder Scrolls III, the expansion portrays the region at its prime.

With the addition of the Vvardenfell area, Morrowind also brings a new class, Warden, who possesses powerful nature magic and a War Bear companion. There is also a new 4v4v4 PvP arena format called Battlegrounds for fast-paced, competitive matches. Thanks to the One Tamriel system, Morrowind‘s content will be appropriately scaled to the player’s level.

New players can purchase the Standard Edition ($59.99), which includes both the Morrowind expansion and The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited base game. A digital Upgrade Edition ($39.99) is available to existing players.

DiRT 4 is a rally racing game developed by Codemasters for current-gen consoles and the PC via Steam. The game features over 50 off-road cars, as well as tracks in five locations from three continents: Australia, Spain, Michigan, Sweden, and Wales.

New in the upcoming title is a system called “Your Stage”, which according to the developer blog allows the players to create a nearly infinite number of unique stages at the press of a button. This ambitious feature should provide more variety and give DiRT 4 more replay value.

WipEout Omega Collection is a racing game which combines the content of WipEout HD, WipEout HD Fury, and WipEout 2048, and brings it up to par with current-gen console capabilities. All the textures have been reworked and the sound effects remastered, according to Sony, and the game runs in 1080p on the PlayStation 4 and dynamic 4K with HDR support on the PS4 Pro, both targeting 60 FPS. 28 licensed music tracks have been added from artists like Chemical Brothers, Swedish House Mafia, DJ Kentaro, and The Prodigy.

The Omega Collection includes nine game modes, 26 tracks, and 46 ships in total. It supports two-player split-screen as well as online multiplayer for up to eight players.

Tekken 7 is the latest installment in Bandai Namco’s enormously popular fighting game series, bringing new gameplay mechanics, photorealistic graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4, and a conclusion to the Mishima clan’s bloody feud. The game is to have a pool of 30 fighters at launch (including Street Fighter’s Akuma), with new ones added over time.

Among the new features in the game is the Rage System, which grants the player two devastating moves – Rage Art and Rage Drive – once their health starts flashing red. RiME is an upcoming puzzle adventure game developed by Tequila Works, and published by Grey Box and Six Foot. It follows a young boy who gets shipwrecked on a mysterious island following a torrential storm. Guided by a helpful fox companion, players must use their wits to solve challenges with sound, light and shadow projection, perspective, platforming, and even time manipulation.

Several gaming sites have listed RiME among their most anticipated titles of 2017, citing its gorgeous visuals and subtle narrative.

Portal Knights is a cooperative sandbox RPG which mixes elements of block-building and role-playing games. Players pick a class, explore randomly-generated 3D sandbox worlds, mine and gather resources, craft weapons and gear, and participate in battles against the formidable Portal Guardians. The story takes place in a rich fantasy world and is said to offer 40 to 50 hours of gameplay. It begins with the protagonist awakening atop a snowy mountain, with no memories of who he is and how he got there. When he is attacked by a giant monster, a beautiful girl with animal ears and a tail comes to his rescue.

Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada is a hack-and-slash game developed by Omega Force and published by Koei Tecmo. Set in Sengoku-era Japan, it follows the titular Sanada Clan in their meteoric rise from lowly vassals to powerful lords. The clan’s legend begins with patriarch Masayuki Sanada, a much-requested character who makes a debut in the series. The story then switches to fan-favorite Yukimura Sanada, following his journey from boyhood to becoming a legendary warrior.

Injustice 2 is an upcoming fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. As a sequel to the 2013 title, Injustice: Gods Among Us, its character roster features both returning as well as brand new heroes and villains. Akiba’s Beat is an action RPG developed by Japanese studio Acquire and published by Marvelous USA (XSEED Games) in North America. In this third title from the Akiba series, players take control of Asahi Tachibana, a NEET who becomes trapped in a day-long time loop along with the other main characters. The game puts a fantastical spin on the Tokyo’s Akihabara ward, with real-life landscapes meshing with surreal “Delusionscapes”.

Farpoint is a VR shooter developed by Impulse Gear for the PSVR headset. Stranded in an inhospitable alien world, the player will have to search for survivors and a way home.

As expected of a first-person shooter, the game has a good variety of weapons, from charged plasma rifles to a railgun, as well as plenty of hostile alien life to use them on. In addition to single player experience, Farpoint also offers a co-op mode for two players. It does require an active PS Plus membership.

The Surge is a sci-fi themed action RPG developed by German studio Deck13 and published by Focus Home Interactive. The game is set in a dystopian world ravaged by war and global warming, and takes place in an automated industrial complex of mega-corporation CREO which has gone rogue. The game allows the players to create cube-shaped worlds and fill them with mountains, forests, and seas. Altering the world’s geography and temperature gives rise to life forms, which continue to evolve and adapt to the environment, eventually resulting in the birth of an entire ecosystem.

Prey is an upcoming first-person shooter developed by Arkane Studios (known for their work on the Dishonored franchise) and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game takes place in a space station Talos I, where research on an alien species called Typhon is performed until the non-terrestrials escape containment, slaughtering most of the crew members.

It is the first installment in the series to boast an AAA-tier budget, resulting in a game that is much larger in scale, with an open world that can be freely explored by players when not on the main mission. Syberia 3 is an upcoming adventure game developed by French studio Microïds, with story and design by Benoît Sokal. Like the previous installments, it follows American lawyer Kate Walker on her journey throughout fictionalized versions of Europe and Russia.

The latest release from Ready At Dawn Studios is Deformers, a physics-based multiplayer arena brawler with a colorful, cartoonish art style. Up to eight players will shoot, ram, and throw each other off the arena, powering up and increasing the size of their squishy Form as they go on.
