NHL 19 is the latest ice hockey simulator from EA. One of the title’s most touted features is RPM (Real Player Motion) technology that promises better animations and more responsiveness in acceleration, high-speed skating, and pin-point turns. Other additions include outdoor rinks, new NHL ONES and NHL Alumni Pro-Am modes, as well as over 200 playable legends of NHL. The game also brings over 900 new customization items.

NASCAR Heat 3 is a racing game developed by Monster Games and published by 704Games that features officially-licensed NASCAR cars and drivers. Like with its predecessor, players may race in Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

New in NASCAR Heat 3 is “Xtreme Dirt Tour”, a dirt oval racing mode featuring nine circuits eight of which were invented for the game, including dirt racing at Bristol Motor Speedway. Another addition to the career mode is that the players can now manage a team of up to four drivers across different series.

NBA 2K19 is a basketball simulator developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. Featuring LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers as the cover athlete for its premium edition, the upcoming installment is said to celebrate 20 years of sports gaming, from best-in-class graphics and gameplay to immersive open-world Neighborhood mode, and continue to push the limits bringing gaming one step closer to real-life basketball excitement and culture.

NBA Live 19 is a basketball simulator developed by EA Tiburon and published by EA Sports. The game boasts Real Player Motion technology, a reimagined animation system which is said to improve responsiveness and provide more authenticity, as well as a new head-to-head gameplay feature called 1v1 Everywhere. Destiny 2: Forsaken is a standalone expansion for Bungie’s online shooter. The story takes the player to investigate a recent unrest in the Reef alongside Cayde-6, where they discover that some of the most wanted criminals have staged an escape from the Prison of Elders. There are new regions to explore, and long-lost Awoken secrets to uncover.

Forsaken makes a number of changes to Destiny 2. Among these is a new competitive 4v4 mode Gambit, a new Dreaming City Raid, as well as additional Strikes , story missions, powers, weapons, and gear, including a new weapon archetype the Legendary Bow.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a RPG with turn-based combat developed by Larian Studios. Its Definitive Edition features a number of improvements and changes based on critic and player feedback since the original launch, including a rewritten journal, map markers, party inventory, new tutorial, and an entirely reworked last act.

Shadows: Awakening is an isometric single-player RPG with real-time combat developed by Games Farm and published by Kalypso Media. It is the so-called Book II of Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms, which itself is a sequel of the 2005 classic Kult: Heretic Kingdoms.

In Shadows Awakening the player embodies the Devourer: a demon with the ability to consume souls of heroes and use them as puppets. As each of them retains their personality, this results in a unique party system with internal dialogues and rivalries inside the Devourer. Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 is the latest installment in Konami’s soccer simulator series. The company promises to increase the number of authentic leagues and stadiums, and is bringing a number of licenses (including exclusively the Russian Premier League), albeit relinquishing the deal with UEFA for the Champions League, Europa League, and the UEFA Super Cup to FIFA 19 of the rival franchise.

PES 2019 introduces 11 new skill traits, bringing the total up to 39 and thus increasing player uniqueness. Player individuality is the most touted feature of the upcoming game, one that Konami claims will help create “Magic Moments” on the pitch. A new stamina system means the athletes will now show clear visual signs when fatigued. Outside the pitch, there are several quality of life improvements such as improved negotiation system and budget management.

Strange Brigade is a cooperative third-person shooter for one to four players developed by British studio Rebellion. The game is set in 1930s Egypt, where Seteki the Witch Queen has risen after being buried in a nameless tomb for 4,000 years. It is up to the fearless explorers of the titular Strange Brigade to fight off her armies of mummified monstrosities – and perhaps snag some ancient treasures while at it.

Each of the four playable characters comes with their own weapons, abilities, and even magic amulets which are charged by defeating enemies. Players have to work as a team to survive and accomplish objectives.

F1 2018 is an upcoming racing simulator from Codemasters. As an officially-licensed Formule One game, it gives players access to the full roster of official drivers and teams, as well as all the circuits of the 2018 season.

We Happy Few is a survival horror game developed by indie studio Compulsion Games and published by Gearbox. Taking place in a dystopian, retrofuturistic 1960s England, the game puts the player into the shoes of three “moderately terrible” people who seek to escape the fictional town of Wellington Wells and its perpetually drugged-out and cheerful inhabitants.

While originally intended as a small, Kickstarter-funded title, the game has since then grown in scope, and will now be getting a worldwide release digitally and through retail channels. Madden 19 is an American football simulator based on the 2018/19 NFL season. According to EA Sports, it builds on the success of the previous installment, bringing some solid improvements to the table. One of these is a more realistic animation technology EA calls Real Player Motion, already present in FIFA 18 and UFC 3, which gives more personality to the players and improves responsiveness.

New additions also include a custom draft class creator in Franchise, all-new player positional archetypes, and upgraded zone coverage AI. There is also a new skill point system, said to provide a more seamless and balanced method for player development.

Overcooked! 2 is a family-friendly co-op cooking game for one to four players. It is developed by a British indie team Ghost Town Games, and published by Team17. The game puts the players into the roles of chefs, and tasks them with preparing a large variety of meals for hungry customers under a time limit.

The Banner Saga 3 is the final installment of the award-winning viking RPG trilogy from independent developer Stoic. Much like its predecessors, it was successfully funded through KickStarter.

The Crew 2 is an open-world racing game developed by Ivory Tower and published by Ubisoft. Compared to its predecessor, it offers more freedom by allowing the players to drive not only cars, but also planes, boats, and bikes, and even swap between them on-the-fly. The missions and challenges are divided into four categories – Street Racing, Off-Road, Pro Racing, and Freestyle – with different vehicle types used.
