Dead Alliance is a team-based multiplayer FPS developed by Psyop Games and IllFonic, and published by Maximum Games. Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland roamed by hordes of zombies, it pits two teams of four players against each other in modes like Capture and Hold, King of the Hill, Free for All, Team Deathmatch, and even Zombie-MOBA. There is also a solo survival mode where the player has to survive increasing waves of the undead.

More than just a nuisance, the wandering zombies can be made to attack and distract the enemy players by using gadgets called zMods. Examples of these include the P.A.M. pheromone grenade, which turns the undead caught in its blast into your minions, and the Trailer, which attracts all nearby zombies to its location.

ARK: Survival Evolved is an open-world survival game developed by Studio Wildcard. The player is stranded on an island filled with dinosaurs and other prehistoric species, and they must craft weapons, acquire food, and build shelter to survive. The dinosaurs can be tamed and used as mounts, including flying and underwater species. The game has both single-player and multiplayer modes with private and official servers, the latter of which include large scale PvP battles.

The preview version of ARK: Survival Evolved has been out on Steam and other platforms for some time, and the game is now approaching a full release, including boxed versions and premium editions sold at retail.

Madden NFL 18, the latest installment in EA’s long-running American football franchise, is the first one to be powered by the company’s proprietary Frostbite engine. In addition to the graphical improvements, this also means the game features a story mode, another first for the series.

Three different playstyles are offered – Arcade, Simulation, and Competitive – which provide different experiences tailored to a certain type of gamer. There is also a new Play Now Live mode, which allows the player to play matches from the real-life NFL schedule with up-to-date rosters and custom commentary.

F1 2017 is a racing simulator developed by Codemasters for current-gen consoles and PC. As the official Formula One game, it includes all 20 race tracks, 20 drivers, and 10 teams from the 2017 season. The Escapists 2 is a sandbox prison break simulator in which the player assumes the role of an inmate intent on escaping. Aven Colony is a sci-fi themed city building game developed by indie studio Mothership Entertainment. While the game’s beta version was already made available via itch.io, the full launch is handled by publisher Team 17, which will be releasing the title on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.

The game tasks players with building a settlement on an extrasolar planet, Aven Prime, and providing the arriving human colonists with adequate living quarters, food, oxygen, and other resources. The new-built city also has to cope with threats such as extreme weather and alien lifeforms.

Fortnite is a co-op survival game developed by People Can Fly and Epic Games, and published by Gearbox. After an apocalypse that made 98% of the world’s population vanish and unleashed hordes of monsters, the remaining Heroes have to band together and scavenge for items, build shelter, and craft weapons and traps to survive.

MotoGP 17 is a motorcycle racing game from Italian developer Milestone. Based on the 2017 world championship season, it includes all this year’s riders, teams, tracks, the new rules, and the Red Bull Rookies Cup championship. DiRT 4 is a rally racing game developed by Codemasters for current-gen consoles and the PC via Steam. The game features over 50 off-road cars, as well as tracks in five locations from three continents: Australia, Spain, Michigan, Sweden, and Wales.

Everspace is a 3D space shooter developed by indie studio Rockfish Games, to whom this is a debut title. The game is said to feature roguelike elements and a non-linear storyline. Running on Unreal Engine 4, it boasts AAA-tier visuals and VR support, with 30 fps at full HD on Xbox One, and the requisite 90 FPS on the Oculus.
