Need for Speed is an upcoming reboot of the franchise developed by Ghost Games (responsible for the 2013 racer NFS: Rivals) and published by EA. Halo 5: Guardians is the next installment in Xbox’s flagship franchise, and the second title in the Reclaimer saga. The story of the game takes place 8 months after the events of Halo 4. Humanity’s colonies are under attack, and to make matters worse, Master Chief has gone AWOL. Jameson Locke, a newly-made SPARTAN-IV, is tasked with hunting him down.

Both Agent Locke and Master Chief are playable in Halo 5. The protagonists are accompanied by three squad members who each have their own loadouts and specialties. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is a historical action-adventure game set in London during the Industrial Revolution. It follows Jacob and Evie Frye, a pair of gangster twins who lead a crime syndicate known as the Rooks. Both of the siblings are playable and have their own story missions as well as skill sets; Jacob specializes in brawling, while Evie is a more traditional assassin with a focus on stealth. Players are tasked with taking on enemy gangs and uniting London’s underworld in order to wrestle control of the city from the Templars.

Forza Motorsport 6 is an upcoming Xbox One exclusive racing sim developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft. Compared to its predecessors, the game boasts improved graphics, audio, AI, and physics. The latter is said to be particularly impressive, with Forza 6 featuring accurately simulated rain and puddles, as well as all the hazards associated with racing in wet weather such as hydroplaning.

MGS V: The Phantom Pain is a direct sequel to Ground Zeroes developed by Kojima Productions and published by Konami. Mad Max is a vehicular combat game set in an open world based on the popular post-apocalyptic movie series. It follows the titular character on his journey across the Wasteland to reclaim the V8 Interceptor that was stolen by Scrotus and his marauding gang of warboys. Madden NFL 16 is an upcoming football game developed and published by EA. It runs on both current-gen and last-gen consoles using tried-and-true Ignite and Impact graphics engines, respectively. Batman: Arkham Knight is an upcoming action-adventure title developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. This last installment in the main trilogy is set one year after the events of Arkham City. Scarecrow returns to Gotham, and unites the most powerful villains of the Rogues Gallery (including the new and mysterious enemy, Arkham Knight) to destroy Batman for good.

New to the franchise is a drivable Batmobile, which can be summoned to the player’s location at any time, and transforms into Battle Mode when more firepower is needed. The Elder Scrolls Online is an MMORPG set in the world of Tamriel a thousand years before the events of Skyrim. It is developed by ZeniMax and published by Bethesda Softworks. Unlike the previous installments in the series, BFHL is police-themed and pits cops against robbers in a variety of game modes. Dragon Ball Xenoverse is an upcoming fighting game developed by Dimps and published by Bandai Namco Games. Evolve is a sci-fi themed asymmetric multiplayer FPS developed by Turtle Rock Studios (creators of Counter-Strike and Left 4 Dead) and published by 2K Games. The game pits four Hunters against an alien Monster in various environments on Shear, a wild and dangerous planet that humanity is trying to colonize.

Dying Light is a first-person action / survival horror title developed by Techland, the makers of Dead Island. Like its predecessor, the game is also centered around a zombie apocalypse, but there are numerous changes as well. For one, Dying Light takes place in a slum city, and gives the players the ability to traverse it easily using parkour-style jumping and running. The day and night cycle is a core gameplay element, with the infected becoming stronger and faster in the dark.
