Starhawk is a PS3-exclusive third-person shooter, set to release in May 2012. Similarly to its predecessor, Warhawk, the game offers split-screen and online multiplayer. New additions include a single player story mode, and a Build n’ Battle system which allows the players to call down various structures from the orbiting ship, giving the game some RTS flavor.
Starhawk takes place in a sci-fi universe, where two factions – Rifters and Outcasts – clash over control of Rift Energy. Players can fight on foot or use various vehicles to do battle on the ground and in the air. Both competitive and co-op multiplayer modes are available.
Limited Edition
Pre-order Starhawk at Gamestop and you will receive an automatic upgrade to the exclusive Limited Edition, which includes the following bonus content:
- Maw of Despair Outcast Pack: contains the Maw of Despair Co-op Map and Shade Warrior MP Skin.
- Echo Scrapyard Rifter Pack: includes the Scrapyard Homeworld and Huxley Ardin MP Skin.
- Starhawk Concept Art PS3 Theme.
- Copy of the original Warhawk (1995).
