Company of Heroes 2 (Special Editions & Differences)

Company of Heroes 2 is an upcoming RTS title developed by Relic Entertainment and published by Sega for Windows platform. The first game was well-received by gamers and critics, and included American and German sides. CoH 2 focuses on the Eastern Front instead, and adds a new faction: the Soviets and their Red Army.

New game features include more realistic unit line of sight, harsh weather conditions which affect infantry, and environmental destruction. This is possible thanks to Relic’s new proprietary Essence Engine 3.0, which utilizes DirectX 11.

Pre-order bonuses

Anyone who pre-orders the game at participating retailers will receive access to the Theatre of War mini-campaign, which contains several additional single player missions. In addition, players will also get Winter Ambush and Voronezh Front vehicle skin packs for multiplayer:

Pre-order bonuses also include two new Doctrines for each faction in multiplayer:

• Soviets will be able to use the Anti-Infantry Tactics Doctrine which enables units like the flamethrower tank, and Conscript Support Tactics Doctrine which gives the player rapid reinforcement abilities.
• Germans will get to unlock the Joint Operations Doctrine which specializes in precise artillery strikes, as well as the Offensive Spearhead Doctrine which focuses on heavy armor and airstrikes.
