F1 2018 is an upcoming racing simulator from Codemasters. As an officially-licensed Formule One game, it gives players access to the full roster of official drivers and teams, as well as all the circuits of the 2018 season.

Codemasters’ F1 series is known for their realistic racing simulation and attention to detail. Compared to the previous installment, the developers promise enhanced visuals with “revised lighting, sky, clouds and atmospherics systems”, as well as car physics system with player-controlled Energy Recovery System (ERS) for a more authentic experience.

Pre-order Bonuses

More classic cars were promised by Codemasters in response to the fans, and the company has delivered. Pre-order F1 2018 and you’ll be upgraded to the Day One “Headline Edition” – or “Special Edition”, as it appears to be called by the retailers Stateside – which includes two iconic Formula One cars as a bonus.

These are the 2009 Brawn BGP-001, driven by F1 World Champion Jenson Button and his teammate Rubens Barrichello, as well as the 2003 Williams FW25, of Juan Pablo Montoya and Ralf Schumacher:

If you do not pre-order, all is not lost, for the cars will be available for purchase together as DLC some time after the official launch. According to Codemasters, these are just some of the classic cars that will be available in the game.

Formula 1 2018 hits the shelves on August 24, 2018.
