Naraka Bladepoint is a game that combines Battle Royale with fighting games. Chinese studio 24 Entertainment produces the game, and it’s published by NetEase Games Montréal. The game will be available on PC only.

Do you like games like Mortal Kombat or Injustice? If so, then this battle royale is for you. Set in a medieval Chinese world, you’ll be fighting against 60 other players to be the last man standing. But instead of rifles and rockets, you’ll be battling with swords and crossbows.

While there are ranged weapons in-game, most battles will be won by clashing katanas with your enemies. The combat is simple but fun. Each type of attack has its own counters, so to be the winning player, you must change up your attacks in order to be unpredictable.

24 Entertainment has added a parkour system and grappling hooks to the game to make the game more fun and close combat more rewarding. This way, you’ll move quickly towards a rival firing his bow from afar to get close enough for the killing blow.

Naraka Bladepoint comes with seven heroes. Each one has their own unique special abilities. For example, Viper Ning can poison her enemies, and Temulch can create a wind barrier that slows enemies down and protects himself from incoming projectiles.

With its deep face customization, you’ll be able to create one of a kind characters unique to you. Thanks to the customization options, some players have been able to replicate iconic character faces like Yoda from Star Wars and Neytiri from Avatar.

The Colombian developers at Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK call Cris Tales a “love letter to classic JRPGs”. Players take on the role of a newly awakened Time Mage Crisbell, who must prevent the Empress from bringing about a cataclysm that would destroy the four Kingdoms of the region. Crisbell embarks on a journey across the Kingdoms, recruiting allies and mastering their abilities as well as hers.

Crisbell’s unique Time Magic allows her to peer into the past and future of those she meets, and even utilize her power in Cris Tales‘ classic turn-based combat. For instance, she may send a poisoned enemy into the future and thus deal all the tick damage in one go.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a third-person action-adventure game set in the LEGO Star Wars universe. Like the previous installments in the series, it is developed by British studio TT Games.

The game adapts all nine Star Wars episodic films into a whimsical playable story. The players have access to an open-world hub from which they may freely select and play any Skywalker saga episodes, with each episode featuring five story missions.

DEATHLOOP is the next project from developer Arkane Studios (Dishonored, Prey) and it’s first entry into next-gen.

You play as Colt, hunting down eight targets scattered across the island of Blackreef in order to break the loop. Players can also choose to take control of rival assassin Julianna, and invade another player’s campaign. (The multiplayer experience is optional, and players can choose to have Julianna controlled by AI instead).

In addition to a variety of weapons, Colt possesses supernatural powers such as teleportation or telekinesis, which should come as no surprise if you played Arkane’s previous titles. He is also adept at stealth, which gives you a choice between sneaking up to your targets or barging in guns blazing.

DEATHLOOP will run at 4K/60FPS, with HDR, Ray-traced shadows and ambient occlusion. Furthermore, it will also have support for the DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers along with fast loading on the PS5’s ultra-high speed SSD.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is a remaster of the 2010 title NieR from Square Enix. Taking place before NieR: Automata, it follows the protagonist from the Japanese-only release of the original game: a brother on a quest to cure his sister Yonah of a deadly disease.

As reported by DualShockers, the developers are focusing on several areas of improvement. Better visuals are a given, but the remaster also includes additional parts that come with new music and voiced lines. Speaking of music, it is entirely re-recorded, featuring higher quality and longer versions of certain songs. Furthermore, the gameplay is less clunky and more along the lines of that of NieR: Automata.

Outriders is a third-person RPG shooter from People Can Fly and Square Enix. The game takes place in a hostile planet of Enoch where the titular Outriders – hardened mercenaries and explorers – search for a mysterious signal that might hold the key to humanity’s survival.

Outriders is said to combine brutal gunplay with an extensive RPG system. Players create their Outrider from scratch and pick one of the four classes that come with unique supernatural abilities such as manipulation of fire or time. The weapons too can be crafted and customized with mods. Up to three players can join in a drop-in co-op, and the entire story campaign can also be tackled solo.

Monster Hunter Rise is an upcoming entry in the popular action RPG series. The game is set in a ninja-inspired Kamura village, which the player will have to protect from the Rampage, a calamity that ravaged the land 50 years ago and is about to occur again.

As usual, the new installment brings both returning and new monsters to hunt, including the new flagship monster Magnamalo, whose amiibo figure is included in the Collector’s Edition. The Wirebug mechanic grants new traversal and aerial attack abilities, and new hunting partners called Palamutes can be personalized and used to ride across the map. Persona 5 Strikers continues the story of Joker and the Phantom Thieves but centers around a new incident, allowing new players to enjoy the game without having played Persona 5. During their summer vacation, a ruthless Kyoto detective recruits the Phantom Thieves to investigate a series of strange cases occurring across Japan. The gang will travel to 6 different cities, helping those in need and fighting the Shadows to uncover the source of the corruption.

The spin-off is co-developed by Atlus’ P-Studio and Omega Force, and combines the hack-and-slash battles of the Dynasty Warriors series with the tactical usage of Personas. The Western release includes English and Japanese voice acting and numerous subtitle options.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world action RPG from Polish developer CD Projekt RED renowned for The Witcher series. Loosely based on the tabletop RPG Cyberpunk 2020, the game is set in the Night City, a sprawling dystopian metropolis where megacorporations and cybernetically-enhanced gangs coexist in a precarious balance, and danger lurks around every corner.

Players assume the role of V, a mercenary outlaw on the hunt for a prototype cybernetic implant that is the key to immortality. Immortals: Fenyx Rising – previously known as Gods and Monsters – is an upcoming third-person action-adventure game from Ubisoft. Players take on the role of the titular Fenyx, a winged demigod, and embark on a quest to save the Greek gods from a dark curse. Fenyx can be played as male or female with a customizable appearance.

Fenyx Rising features a stylized open world across seven unique regions that can be freely explored and offers side-quests and puzzles outside of the main storyline. The player can upgrade Fenyx’s gear and skills, and acquire powerful godlike gifts such as the sword of Achilles or the bow of Odysseus.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a spin-off of the main The Legend of Zelda series developed by Omega Force and Team Ninja, the makers of Dynasty Warriors franchise. It plays similarly to the Musou games the developer is famed for, pitting heroes like Link and Zelda against hordes of barbaric Bokoblins, towering Lynels, and other foes.

Godfall is a third-person “looter-slasher” action RPG developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox. You play as the last Valorian knight, a mighty warrior able to control Valorplates: legendary armor sets that transform the wielder into an unstoppable master of melee combat. Your task is to climb the five elemental realms and challenge the mad god, Macros, who awaits at the top.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games exclusively for PlayStation. Story-wise, it picks up where Marvel’s Spider-Man and its DLC The City that Never Sleeps left off, with teenager Miles Morales being bitten by a genetically enhanced spider and gaining powers similar to Peter Parker’s.

Releasing alongside Miles Morales is the remastered first Marvel’s Spider-Man game with all its DLC. Bluepoint Games is remaking the original Demon’s Souls for PlayStation 5. The upcoming remake is exclusive to next-gen hardware and features much improved visuals, faster loading times, 3D audio, and haptic feedback via the new DualSense controller. Norse-themed Assassin’s Creed Valhalla brings raiding, settlement building, and more advanced RPG elements to the franchise. The game’s story centers around Eivor: a fierce viking raider and member of the Assassins, who alongside his or her clan sails from the harsh Norway in search of richer lands. Arriving on the shores of England, Eivor’s clan establishes a village that will prosper and grow as a consequence of the player’s efforts. From this settlement the Vikings can launch brutal raids against Saxon fortresses throughout the lands.

XIII is a remake of the 2003 first-person shooter based on an eponymous graphic novel. You play as an elite soldier Thirteen, who wakes up in a deserted beach without any memories but still in possession of his skills. As you set off to uncover your past, you soon learn that you played a role in the murder of the President of the United States of America.

True to its comic book heritage, XIII features a cel-shaded art style, onomatopoeia sound effects, and speech bubbles. The game’s solo campaign includes a total of 34 levels, and there is a PvP multiplayer mode as well.

Developed by the two-man team of Edelweiss, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is a cross-genre title that combines side-scrolling combat with a crafting and farming simulation. It follows a young harvest goddess Sakuna, who is banished from the celestial capital, where she lived in lazy luxury, to an untamed island teeming with demonic beasts. There, she finds her calling farming rice and bettering the lives of the mortals in the local mountain village. The game is inspired by Japanese mythology, albeit with some original twists, and features a charming cel-shaded art style.

Watch Dogs Legion is an open-world action-adventure game from Ubisoft. Taking place in a dystopian near-future version of London that is swarming with surveillance drones and deportation squads, it involves recruiting ordinary people into the hacktivist group DedSec to take a stand against the authoritarian government and greedy corporations.

An ambitious system called Play as Anyone allows the player to recruit and play as any procedurally generated NPC – be they an old lady or a hulking gangster. Each recruit possesses their own unique backstory and skill set, and can be swapped between according to mission requirements.

Ghostrunner is a first-person hack and slash game developed by One More Level. It is set in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world where the entire humanity shelters in an enormous megastructure called the Dharma Tower. The player assumes the role of a cyberninja equipped with a monomolecular katana and slices their way from the tower’s bottom to the top to confront its tyrannical Keymaster.

The game promises fast-paced combat with mechanics such as one-hit-kill, bullet time, and parkour. According to the developer, Ghostrunner is targeted at hardcore players and will test both their reflexes and problem-solving skills.
