Persona 5 Royal is an enhanced version of the critically acclaimed supernatural RPG-slash-school life simulator from Atlus. It adds a third semester at the Shujin Academy attended by the cast, an entirely new story arc, new characters and confidants, more background music, and a grappling hook mechanic that comes in handy for reaching hidden areas.
The upcoming Royal release of Persona 5 comes with its own special editions, including a launch edition with a bonus Steelbook available to early customers at no extra charge. These are detailed after the break.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is an action-adventure game from Omega Force that follows Luffy and the Straw Hat pirates from the beginning of their journey to find the titular legendary treasure. Moreover, it includes an original retelling of the Wano Country arc currently ongoing in the anime series.
Pirate Warriors 4 features a cast of over 40 playable characters, including fan-favorites like Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and others. The game boasts large-scale Musou style battles that the developer is renowned for, destructible environments, and many iconic moments from the anime and manga in a new medium. Also new is the ability to execute attacks mid-air, which will be available to all characters. The game can be tackled solo or with a friend offline, and in a co-op of up to four players online. The online co-op offers exclusive missions.
Bleeding Edge is a third-person 4v4 arena brawler from Ninja Theory, the makers of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and DmC: Devil May Cry. Players pick one of the many colorful characters with unique abilities and engage the enemy team inside arenas chock-full of environmental hazards. The combat is fast-paced and focused mainly on melee, although there are shooting and healing mechanics too.
As an Xbox Play Anywhere title, Bleeding Edge allows the players to purchase only one digital copy and play it on both their Xbox One console and Windows 10 PC. The game also supports cross-platform multiplayer.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is the third incarnation of SFV that includes balance tweaks and bundles together 40 fighters, 34 stages, and over 200 costumes. The latest fighter to join the roster is master of fire and ice Gill, who comes with his own Sun Chase Moon stage.
The upcoming game can be purchased separately for $29.99, whether digitally or at retail. Existing owners can upgrade to Champion Edition and receive immediate access to its already available content for a marginally lower price of $24.99.
One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is a 3v3 fighter based on a hit manga and anime series. Players form teams of their favorite heroes and villains to take on missions in the story mode or compete against each other in battle.
The list of playable characters confirmed by publisher Bandai Namco thus far includes Genos, Hellish Blizzard, Mumen Rider, Speed-o’-Sound Sonic, Metal Knight, Stinger, and of course Saitama himself. The latter also has a pajama-wearing alter ego: Dream Saitama, who is able to fight without vaporizing his opponents with a single punch. Half-Life: Alyx is a VR-exclusive shooter and the first entry in the series since 2007. It is not the long-awaited continuation to Half-Life 2: Episode 2, but rather a tie-in that takes place between the events of the first and second games. Players take control of Alyx Vance, and together with her father Eli, mount a resistance against the Combine’s invasion of Earth.
The game is built from ground-up for VR, and supports every SteamVR-compatible headset including HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Windows Mixed Reality, and Valve’s own Index. Input-wise, it works with both button-based and modern finger tracking systems.
Samurai Shodown is a weapon-based fighting game by SNK and a reboot of the long-running series. Set in a fantasized version of 1787 Japan, it features a roster of over 20 fighters, including several newcomers to the series.
The game has already been released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia, and is set to launch on Nintendo Switch in February. It will run at 60 FPS with support for tabletop, TV, and handheld modes. There is also a bonus for early purchasers as detailed after the jump.
