Moving Out is a frenetic couch co-op game developed by SMG Studio and Devm Games, and published by Team17. Each player takes on the role of a Furniture Arrangement and Relocation Technician (F.A.R.T) and cooperates with up to three others to tackle increasingly dangerous and bizarre moving jobs.

Trials of Mana is a remake of the third installment in the fantasy JRPG Mana series from 1995. Developed by Square Enix, the game brings the classic storyline and the cast of characters into a lush 3D world with new combat and progression systems and a partly orchestral soundtrack.

The game offers six playable characters, out of which the player picks the protagonist and their two companions. The story and conversations play out differently depending on the party composition.

Racing game maker Milestone is hard at work developing the latest iteration of MotoGP. Based on the 2020 FIM MotoGP World Championship, the upcoming game brings the drivers and the tracks of the season to the screen, including the new Finnish circuit Kymi Ring.

The most touted features include the return of the Managerial Career, dedicated low-latency servers, more capable AI, and more realism in tire wear, fuel consumption, and other areas. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is an action-adventure game from Omega Force that follows Luffy and the Straw Hat pirates from the beginning of their journey to find the titular legendary treasure. Pirate Warriors 4 features a cast of over 40 playable characters, including fan-favorites like Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and others. The game boasts large-scale Musou style battles that the developer is renowned for, destructible environments, and many iconic moments from the anime and manga in a new medium. Also new is the ability to execute attacks mid-air, which will be available to all characters. The game can be tackled solo or with a friend offline, and in a co-op of up to four players online. DOOM Eternal is a direct sequel to id Software’s 2016 shooter DOOM. Upon returning to Earth, the Slayer finds it invaded by demons and proceeds to do what he does best: rip and tear through their hordes. There are new weapons, such as the distance-closing Meat Hook, new abilities, and new classes of enemies with unique attacks.

Another new feature in DOOM Eternal is a Dark Souls-like invasion mechanic where the player assumes the role of a demon and invades the other players’ campaigns. While it won’t be available at launch, it will be added as a free update shortly after. There is also an online 2-vs-1 Battlemode that involves the Doom Slayer facing off against two player-controlled demons.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a life simulation game from Nintendo that takes place on a deserted island. It offers a robust crafting system and a variety of activities like gardening, fishing and decorating. There also are many unique villagers to interact with, both new ones and those familiar from the previous installments.

New Horizons‘s multiplayer mode allows up to eight players to reside on a single island via online multiplayer or local wireless. Furthermore, four players can play together on a single system. The game supports all Nintendo Switch modes.

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 is an official simulation of the Isle of Man TT, which is widely considered to be the most dangerous motorcycle race in the world. The game faithfully recreates the 60km Snaefell Mountain course and offers 17 additional tracks on top of that.

New in TT Ride on the Edge 2 is an open world for testing out bikes and their upgrades without the pressure of competition. Developer Kylotonn also claims realistic motorcycle physics, more natural steering, and improvements to suspension, tyres, and brake temperature management. Metro Redux is a two-game collection comprising the definitive editions of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. Samurai Shodown is a weapon-based fighting game by SNK and a reboot of the long-running series. Set in a fantasized version of 1787 Japan, it features a roster of over 20 fighters, including several newcomers to the series.

The game has already been released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia, and is set to launch on Nintendo Switch in February. It will run at 60 FPS with support for tabletop, TV, and handheld modes. There is also a bonus for early purchasers as detailed after the jump.

Darksiders Genesis is an isometric hack-n-slash RPG developed by Airship Syndicate and published by THQ Nordic. It is a spin-off from the main Darksiders series, and stars Strife, the fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse, as well as his brother War. The player can switch between gunslinger Strife and swordsman War during gameplay, or tackle the game in a local or online co-op with a friend.

The game is already out on PC and Google Stadia, and has garnered generally favorable reviews. The console release is coming in February 2020, and as usual, there are some pre-order bonuses to take a look at.

Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 3 is a motorcycle racing game developed by Milestone and published by Square Enix in North America. Containing 100 riders from both 450SX and 250SX classes and 15 stadiums and tracks, it aims to faithfully recreate the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross season on TV and computer screens.

New in the upcoming game is a four-player co-op mode, a huge free roaming area with 9 tracks, and online multiplayer with dedicated servers and a Race Director Mode for creating custom online tournaments. The widely used Track Editor makes a return with additional aesthetic customization items.

Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Gust are hard at work on the upcoming re-release of the Atelier Dusk Trilogy that comprises Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky DX, and Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea DX.

The little “DX” at the end of each title signifies that the game includes numerous previously released DLC and some quality-of-life features. These include the ability to run in the overworld to explore faster, as well as a feature to fast-forward battles. The game’s graphics are also improved on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

Pokémon Sword and Shield are eight-generation core Pokémon games that take place in the Galar region heavily inspired by Great Britain. Players choose one of three new partner Pokemon – Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble – and embark on a journey as a Pokémon Trainer, catching, trading, and battling both returning and never-before-seen Pokémon.

New features include the Dynamax mode, which causes the trainer’s Pokémon to grow in size and power for a limited number of turns, as well as Max Raid battles which allow up to four trainers to take on a Max Raid Pokémon together.

Developed by Next Level Games and published by Nintendo, Luigi’s Mansion 3 once again stars Mario’s cowardly brother Luigi as he sneaks around a ghost-infested hotel trying to rescue his friends who were kidnapped by King Boo.

Compared to its predecessor Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, the upcoming game features more open-ended levels instead of predetermined missions. While it is not a platformer game where one may jump around as they please, Luigi can now use a similar action called “Burst” to avoid incoming attacks.

The ScareScraper multiplayer mode also makes a return, doubling the potential player count from 4 to 8. Players may join forces locally or online and bust ghosts in always-different, procedurally generated levels.
