Pokemon does open-world for the first time in the series in a way only Pokemon can in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The newest chapters unlock a new way to play letting you roam free through the air, water, and land on your journey to honing your skills as a Pokemon trainer. Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be available on Nintendo Switch this Autumn.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are two similar games with slight differences. Some of the greater differences being each of the games take place in a different time period, Scarlet in the past and Violet in the future.
Up-and-coming Pokemon trainers from all over the region come together at a prestigious institution in the Paldea Region to study and take part in Pokemon battles to help advance their skills and prowess.
More differences can be spotted in the two games as the institution features different emblems, uniforms, and teachers depending on the game.
