Sakura Wars is a cross-genre title that combines action-based battles with visual novel and dating sim elements. Players step into the shoes of Seijuro Kamiyama, a young captain overseeing the reformation of the all-female Flower Division. Their job? Piloting steam-powered mechs, fighting demons, and during times of peace, producing theater plays.

The game features a fully 3D version of Ginza, Tokyo, which Seijuro can explore on foot and talk to different characters to trigger story events. The interactive LIPS system from earlier Sakura Wars installments makes a return. During dialogue, the player must pick one of the multiple responses within a time limit, and the choice affects the characters’ relationships.

Racing game maker Milestone is hard at work developing the latest iteration of MotoGP. Based on the 2020 FIM MotoGP World Championship, the upcoming game brings the drivers and the tracks of the season to the screen, including the new Finnish circuit Kymi Ring.

The most touted features include the return of the Managerial Career, dedicated low-latency servers, more capable AI, and more realism in tire wear, fuel consumption, and other areas. MotoGP 20 also has a renewed Historical Mode that allows the player to relive the history of the sport – and the pre-order bonuses add on to that.

Ghost of Tsushima Box Art

Ghost of Tsushima is an action-adventure game developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony. It takes place in 13th century Japan, and follows Jin Sakai, one of the last samurai left alive on the island of Tsushima after it was devastated by a Mongol invasion fleet. To liberate his homeland, Jin must set aside the rigid teachings of the samurai and embrace the path of a Ghost.

The game features an open world that can be freely roamed on foot and horseback. The combat involves copious amounts of swordplay as well as stealth and more unconventional tactics such as smoke bombs.

New World is Amazon Game Studios’ first foray into MMOs. A PC-exclusive, it runs on the company’s royalty-free Lumberyard engine and can be played without a subscription fee (albeit with an upfront payment for the game).

As one might gather from the title, New World is set in colonial America – except with a fantasy twist. Players have to content with both supernatural forces and each other in a land rife with danger and opportunity. The game’s classless progression system allows any combination of attributes and weapon masteries.

TT Isle of Man 2 Box Art

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 is an official simulation of the Isle of Man TT, which is widely considered to be the most dangerous motorcycle race in the world. The game faithfully recreates the 60km Snaefell Mountain course and offers 17 additional tracks on top of that.

New in TT Ride on the Edge 2 is an open world for testing out bikes and their upgrades without the pressure of competition. Developer Kylotonn also claims realistic motorcycle physics, more natural steering, and improvements to suspension, tyres, and brake temperature management. The game features several classic bikes, one of which will be included as a pre-order bonus for early customers – more on that after the jump.
