DOOM Eternal is a direct sequel to id Software’s 2016 shooter DOOM. Upon returning to Earth, the Slayer finds it invaded by demons and proceeds to do what he does best: rip and tear through their hordes. There are new weapons, such as the distance-closing Meat Hook, new abilities, and new classes of enemies with unique attacks.

Another new feature in DOOM Eternal is a Dark Souls-like invasion mechanic where the player assumes the role of a demon and invades the other players’ campaigns. While it won’t be available at launch, it will be added as a free update shortly after. There is also an online 2-vs-1 Battlemode that involves the Doom Slayer facing off against two player-controlled demons.

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 is an official simulation of the Isle of Man TT, which is widely considered to be the most dangerous motorcycle race in the world. The game faithfully recreates the 60km Snaefell Mountain course and offers 17 additional tracks on top of that.

New in TT Ride on the Edge 2 is an open world for testing out bikes and their upgrades without the pressure of competition. Developer Kylotonn also claims realistic motorcycle physics, more natural steering, and improvements to suspension, tyres, and brake temperature management. The game features several classic bikes, one of which will be included as a pre-order bonus for early customers – more on that after the jump.

MLB The Show 20 is an officially licensed Major League Baseball game from SIE San Diego Studio. It brings updated March to October and Road to The Show modes, improved defensive and hitting mechanics, competitive online play with custom leagues, and full minor league rosters.

R.B.I. Baseball 20 is an officially licensed baseball game from MLB Advanced Media. It offers modes such as Franchise, Exhibition, and Home Run Derby. Compared to its predecessor, R.B.I. 20 brings new controls, improved player models, a broadcast-inspired Pitching Camera, and more authenticity owing to improved stealing and pickoffs, revamped MLB ballparks, tailored cutscene animations, and better crowd behavior.

Nioh 2 is a “masocore” action RPG from Team Ninja. Timeline-wise it is a prequel to the original Nioh, and follows a different protagonist: a half-yokai, half-human mercenary who can utilize both weapons and supernatural abilities, and even enter the Dark Realm. This time around, the protagonist is fully customizable by the player including gender, appearance, and so on.

My Hero: One’s Justice 2 is a fighting game based on a hit manga and anime series My Hero Academia. It picks up where the first game left off, following Deku’s and the rest of the UA hero class’s fight for justice.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is a 3v3 fighter based on a hit manga and anime series. Players form teams of their favorite heroes and villains to take on missions in the story mode or compete against each other in battle.

The list of playable characters confirmed by publisher Bandai Namco thus far includes Genos, Hellish Blizzard, Mumen Rider, Speed-o’-Sound Sonic, Metal Knight, Stinger, and of course Saitama himself. Crytek’s Hunt: Showdown is a competitive multiplayer shooter that mixes PvP and PvE elements. The game is match-based, with each match taking approximately 20 to 40 minutes. In the main Bounty Hunt mode, up to 12 players take on the role of bounty hunters and set out to eliminate their monstrous targets solo or in teams of two or three. Once their target is defeated, the players have to carry their bounty off the map without being killed by their competitors.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is the third incarnation of SFV that includes balance tweaks and bundles together 40 fighters, 34 stages, and over 200 costumes. The latest fighter to join the roster is master of fire and ice Gill, who comes with his own Sun Chase Moon stage.

Darksiders Genesis is an isometric hack-n-slash RPG developed by Airship Syndicate and published by THQ Nordic. It is a spin-off from the main Darksiders series, and stars Strife, the fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse, as well as his brother War. The player can switch between gunslinger Strife and swordsman War during gameplay, or tackle the game in a local or online co-op with a friend.

The game is already out on PC and Google Stadia, and has garnered generally favorable reviews. The console release is coming in February 2020, and as usual, there are some pre-order bonuses to take a look at.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War is a third-person shooter from Rebellion Developments. It is a sequel to Zombie Army Trilogy, which itself is a spin-off of the company’s Sniper Elite franchise. Set in 1940s Europe, the upcoming game again pits one to four players against hordes of Nazi undead.

The game’s most touted features include deep character progression, weapon customization, brutal melee, and even more brutal dismemberment with the return of fan-favorite X-ray kill cam. Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 3 is a motorcycle racing game developed by Milestone and published by Square Enix in North America. Journey to the Savage Planet is a colorful and upbeat first-person exploration game developed by Typhoon Studios. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is an anime-style action RPG from CyberConnect2 and Bandai Namco. It allows the player to relive the entire story of DBZ as Goku, from iconic events and epic battles to daily life, training, and making friends. It also includes original, never-before-seen backstories for certain characters.

Goku can zoom around on his Nimbus, explore new areas, complete side-quests, and engage in activities like fishing and eating. In combat, the perspective switches from third-person to over-the-shoulder view similar to Xenoverse. Death Stranding is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony. As per the official blurb, the game’s protagonist Sam Bridges (motion-capped and voiced by Norman Reedus) must brave a world transformed by a phenomenon called Death Stranding and reunite civilization one step at a time.
