NBA 2K17 Pre-Order Bonuses (Special Editions & Differences)

NBA 2K17 is a basketball simulator developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports for current- and last-gen consoles as well as Windows. The cover art for the game features Paul George of Indiana Pacers, who is said to be an avid NBA 2K player himself. Meanwhile, the cover star for the aptly-named Legend Edition is the now-retired Kobe Bryant. The upcoming installment is said to feature new signature animations for most of the top NBA players in order to deliver a more authentic experience.

Pre-order bonuses

The main appeal of pre-ordering this title is the automatic upgrade to the Early Tip Off Edition which lets one start playing on September 16, four days before the official launch. Other digital bonuses include MyTEAM Bundle (3 packs with a guaranteed Paul George Free Agent card), 5,000 Virtual Currency for NBA 2K17, ’92 Dream Team, and a Paul George jersey for your MyPlayer.

• Best Buy: $10 in reward certificates

Meanwhile, digital pre-orders via PlayStation or Xbox marketplaces grant the buyer an instant 35,000 VC for use in the previous title, NBA 2K16.

The Legend Edition retails for $79.99 and contains the following:

NBA 2K17 is scheduled to be released on September 20, 2016. However, as mentioned before, all pre-orders get early access to the game on September 16.
