Steins;Gate Elite is a visual novel developed by Mages (formerly 5pb) and published by Spike Chunsoft as a part of the Science Adventure series. It follows a ragtag group of tech-savvy students who discover a means to change the past and get in over their heads when agents of SERN, an organization hellbent on world domination, come knocking on their door.

Steins;Gate Elite is a fully-animated remake of the original 2009 title, reusing footage from the Steins;Gate TV series, as well as adding entirely new animation by White Fox studio for the routes and content that weren’t adapted in the anime.

Metro Exodus is a first-person shooter developed by Ukrainian studio 4A Games and published by Deep Silver. Set in a post-apocalyptic Earth devastated by a nuclear war, it continues the story of Artyom, who leaves the Moscow’s metro and travels east aboard an armored steam locomotive, Aurora, in search of a new life. During the journey through the wasteland, the Aurora acts as a mobile station, and will be constantly modified with new cars as the survivors aboard fend off sinister foes and recruit new allies.

Jump Force is a 3v3 tag team fighter developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco. Celebrating 50 years of the Weekly Jump magazine, it stars the world’s most popular manga heroes including Goku from Dragonball, Luffy from One Piece, Boruto’s dad from Naruto, Killua from Hunter x Hunter, Yusuke from Yu Yu Hakusho, and many more.

The game is set on modern Earth, or to be more exact an alternate version of it which has merged with the Jump universe, dumping the characters from their serialized manga into reality. Far Cry: New Dawn is an open-world first-person shooter from Ubisoft. It is a spin-off of the main Far Cry series, and a sequel to Far Cry 5. Set 17 years after the events in the latter, it takes place in a post-apocalyptic version of Hope County that is recovering from a nuclear catastrophe.

The player starts as a new, customizable character, exploring and scavenging and crafting their way through the game’s world, and defending the Survivor faction against the marauding Highwaymen led by twin sisters Mickey and Lou. Resident Evil 2 is a remake of the 1998 horror classic, rebuilt by Capcom in their proprietary RE Engine previously used for Resident Evil 7 and Devil May Cry V. The company promises a fresh take on the original cult-classic, bringing it up to date with photorealistic visuals, immersive audio, a new over-the-shoulder camera, and a modernized control scheme.

The game stars rookie police officer Leon Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield, who find themselves in the middle of a zombie outbreak in Raccoon City. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is a combat flight simulator developed and published by Bandai Namco. Just Cause 4 is an open-world action-adventure game developed like its predecessor by Avalanche Studios and published by Square Enix. Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is a Wonder Boy-inspired side-scrolling action-adventure game developed by Game Atelier and published by FDG Entertainment, with the retail release of PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions handled by Sega.

Darksiders III is a hack-and-slash action-adventure game developed by Gunfire Games and published by THQ Nordic. The upcoming title’s protagonist is Fury, the most unpredictable and enigmatic of the Four Horsemen. Tasked by the Charred Council to restore balance to the world, this whip-wielding mage sets out on a quest to destroy the Seven Deadly Sins and their degenerated servants that have overrun the Earth.

Battlefield 5 is an upcoming first-person shooter developed and published by EA. Set during World War II, it focuses heavily on squad-based gameplay, scarcity of resources, and extensive player character customization.

The game introduces several new multiplayer modes. One of these is Grand Operations, a tweaked version of Operations seen in Battlefield 1. Based on real historical battles, it is a multimatch mode which spans four days, with the player’s performance during the first mission affecting the resources received at the start of the next one. Another mode is Firestorm – developed by Criterion Games, it is Battlefield V‘s take on the ever-popular battle royale genre, featuring a shrinking battlefield with 64 players in 16 squads.

A notable addition is the Tides of War system, or Battlefield V‘s online campaign, which will deliver new narrative content over time with themed rewards for completing each event. Farming Simulator 19 is developed by GIANTS Software and published by Maximum Games. It is said to feature the series’ most extensive vehicle roster to date, including the largest agriculture machinery company in the world, John Deere, as well as Case IH, New Holland, Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Valtra, Krone, Deutz-Fahr, and many others. The graphics engine is overhauled to offer more immersive visuals.

The game offers three distinct American and European environments in which to develop and expand farms, and introduces new farming activities including new machinery and crops. Fallout 76 is a multiplayer survival game set in West Virginia in year 2102, well before the events in the previous installments. It centers around Vault 76, the inhabitants of which are tasked with rebuilding society a quarter-century after the nuclear apocalypse.

The game is fully online, with a dozen or so players gathering resources and building bases in a shared world that is said to be four times larger than that of Fallout 4. It is possible to work at surviving alone, or in a party with up to four friends. If cooperation ain’t your thing, it is possible to collect launch codes and nuke other players’ bases. Progress isn’t lost upon death, however, and the characters can be freely transferred between servers.

Hitman 2 is a stealth assassination game developed by IO Interactive and published by Warner Bros. It is a direct sequel to the 2016 reboot of the series, and has Agent 47 embarking on a mission to hunt the elusive Shadow Client and learning the hidden truth of his own past.

The official announcement promises a wealth of improvements in the upcoming installment, including NPC vision, better crowd fidelity, and new items such as concussion gadgets. The game features six initial maps, each which living and breathing environments that a player can use to their advantage and take out their targets in creative ways. Hitman 2 will launch as a full game, dropping the episodic nature of its predecessor, albeit there are at least two future expansions in the works.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead is a four-player co-op shooter developed by Starbreeze-owned Overkill Software and published by 505 Games. Set in a post-apocalyptic Washington D.C., the game centers around characters Aidan, Heather, Maya and Grant, each of whom has their own skill tree, squad role, play style, and background story. Taking role of one of the four, the players will have to work as a team to survive as they fend off the dead – as well as the living.

GRIP: Combat Racing is an arcade combat racer developed by an indie studio Caged Element. The gameplay is inspired by the 90s title Rollcage, and it is worked on by one of its original programmers. Of course, technology has come a long way since then, and so GRIP runs on the latest-and-baddest Unreal Engine 4.

The game’s tracks are set on a variety of exotic planets, and feature destructible structures that can be used against one’s opponents. The pickups include not only power-ups, but all sorts of heavy weaponry as well. GRIP: Combat Racing offers both split-screen and online multiplayer.

Football Manager 2019 is a soccer management simulator developed by Sports Interactive and published by Sega. Like its many predecessors, the game puts the player in charge of a club of their choice, tasking them with defining the tactics and style of play, recruiting and developing the ultimate squad, and watching the matches play out in 3D.

My Hero: One’s Justice is an anime-style fighting game developed by Byking and published by Bandai Namco. Based on the popular manga and anime series My Hero Academia, it allows the players to step into the shoes of either heroes or villains, experience the story from each perspective, and unleash powerful Quirks upon their enemies.

The game features destructible environments based on various locations from the original series. A sidekick system lets the player pick two helpers to perform powerful combos with, albeit the game is still one-on-one and not a tag team fighter. Soulcalibur VI is a fighting game developed by Project Soul and published by Bandai Namco. It is a reboot of the series that takes place in the 16th century and retells the events of the original Soulcalibur. Unreal Engine 4 is utilized for the first time in the franchise, promising 4K visuals with beautiful 3D character models and stages.

The game includes a number of new and returning fighters, as well as guest character Geralt of Rivia from the Witcher series. It drops the player into the shoes of a custom-created rookie villain, who will wreak havoc alongside renowned DC supervillains like The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Lex Luthor – and perhaps even save the Earth from a sham Justice League from a parallel universe, who call themselves the “Justice Syndicate”.
