Batman: Arkham Knight is an upcoming action-adventure title developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. This last installment in the main trilogy is set one year after the events of Arkham City. Scarecrow returns to Gotham, and unites the most powerful villains of the Rogues Gallery (including the new and mysterious enemy, Arkham Knight) to destroy Batman for good.

New to the franchise is a drivable Batmobile, which can be summoned to the player’s location at any time, and transforms into Battle Mode when more firepower is needed. The Elder Scrolls Online is an MMORPG set in the world of Tamriel a thousand years before the events of Skyrim. It is developed by ZeniMax and published by Bethesda Softworks. The upcoming tenth installment in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series is developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Bloodborne is an upcoming action RPG developed by the famous Japanese studio From Software, the creators of Demon’s Souls and its successors. This Gothic-themed game begins in the sprawling city of Yharnam, and is set during the Victorian period. As a result, the medieval armor is gone, replaced by cloth, and various guns fitting the period are available for use.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is an upcoming fighting game developed by Dimps and published by Bandai Namco Games. It features large, fully 3D levels, environmental destruction, and battles in the air, on the ground, and under water. The game’s Story Mode follows an original player-created character (customization options include race, gender, clothing, voice, etc.) and is said to offer 10+ hours of gameplay. The Order: 1886 is a third-person action-adventure game developed by Ready at Dawn and published by Sony exclusively for their PS4 platform. Set in an alternate version of the Victorian-era London, it follows the titular Order, whose job it is to hunt down dangerous Half-Breeds such as Lycans. Evolve is a sci-fi themed asymmetric multiplayer FPS developed by Turtle Rock Studios (creators of Counter-Strike and Left 4 Dead) and published by 2K Games. The game pits four Hunters against an alien Monster in various environments on Shear, a wild and dangerous planet that humanity is trying to colonize.

There are four Hunter classes in total (Assault, Support, Medic, and Trapper), with three different characters each. Dying Light is a first-person action / survival horror title developed by Techland, the makers of Dead Island. Like its predecessor, the game is also centered around a zombie apocalypse, but there are numerous changes as well. Dragon Age: Inquisition is an upcoming sequel to the highly popular Dragon Age franchise. LBP3 is an upcoming third installment in the core LittleBigPlanet series developed by a British studio Sumo Digital. The game includes three new playable characters – Swoop, Oddsock, and Toggle – each with their own unique powers; Sackboy himself also gains an ability to climb certain objects. Set in year 2054, it features highly futuristic combat with exoskeletons that allow their users to perform enormous leaps, blazing-fast dodges, and supercharged melee attacks. Destiny is an online multiplayer FPS with a flavor of RPG developed by Bungie and published by Activision. While the game does have some MMO elements – such as its massive, persistent world – it is referred to as a “shared-world shooter” instead.

Destiny offers the player a choice between three playable races and three classes, the latter of which gives access to different subclasses, abilities, gear, and so on.
