FIFA 19 (Special Editions & Differences)

FIFA 19 is a soccer simulator developed in collaboration by EA Vancouver and EA Romania studios. It is EA’s first game in a decade to boast the official Champions League license, snagging it from the rival Pro Evolution Soccer series after the expiration of Konami’s partnership with the UEFA. In addition to Champions League, two other modes added are Europa League and UEFA Super Cup.

The cinematic story mode introduced in FIFA 17, The Journey, will continue in the latest installment. Titled The Journey: Champions, it will feature Alex Hunter’s journey to win the Champions League.

Pre-order Bonuses

There is no exclusive DLC announced for the game, but placing your pre-order via Best Buy will net you $10 in reward certificates. As usual, digital pre-orders via PlayStation Store will receive an exclusive FIFA 19 PS4 Theme.

Standard Edition ($59.99)

The Standard Edition of FIFA 19 features Cristiano Ronaldo wearing Real Madrid jersey on its cover. Pre-orders of this edition come bundled with the following:

Champions Edition ($79.99)

Neymar is the cover star of both Champion and Ultimate editions. The Champions Edition is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It includes the following extras on top of the base game:

• Up to 20 FUT Jumbo Premium Gold Packs (1 per week for 20 weeks)
• Three-Day Early Access (play from September 25)
• UEFA Champions League Gold Player (choose one of five 80 to 83 rated gold player from qualified teams)

FIFA 19 launches September 28, 2018 for current- and previous-gen consoles as well as PC via EA’s Origin platform. As mentioned above, those who pre-order either the Champions or the Ultimate edition will get to start playing three days ahead of the official release.
