Humankind is a 4X turn-based strategy game from Amplitude Studios and SEGA. In the style of Civilization, players lead their people from humble origins as a Neolithic tribe to the Modern Age, researching technologies, constructing wonders, and waging wars along the way.

Humankind offers intriguing means of customization to ensure that each playthrough is unique. Not only the player’s avatar is customizable, but their civilization can freely adopt any of the 60 historical cultures from the Ancient to the Modern Age, which according to the developer, results in one million possible combinations.

Humankind will be available in Standard ($49.99) and Digital Deluxe ($59.99) editions. At the time of writing, only the latter is available for pre-purchase with the following bonuses included:

• Player profile decoration & symbols set
• 15% discount, reducing the price from the nominal $59.99 to $50.99.
