NHL 14 is an upcoming hockey simulator developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports. The game includes a handful of new features like more realistic collisions, easier controls, new jostling mechanics, additional skating animations, and one-touch dekes. The collision system is powered by the same technology as used in the latest FIFA titles. An updated Be a Pro career mode is also present.

Pre-order bonuses

First-off, preordering NHL 14 from any of the retailers listed below will net you an EA Sports Ultimate Pass, which includes 24 HUT Gold packs (you’ll get 1 pack per week for 24 weeks). In addition, there are some exclusive digital and physical goodies to be had:

  • Amazon: Warrior Player Pack and CCM Player Pack, both of which include exclusive custom equipment and boosts for your Be A Pro and EASHL created players.
  • Best Buy: Easton Player Pack with custom gear to give your Be A Pro and EASHL players an extra edge.

Enforcer Engine trailer

The new Enforcer Engine is powered by Fight Night technology and brings third-person perspective and physics-based punching to fights in NHL 14.

NHL 14 is set to launch on September 10th, 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. There’s no indication that any releases for next-gen consoles are planned at this point.
