MLB The Show 18 is a sports game developed by SIE San Diego and published by Sony exclusively for their PS4 consoles. This new installment sets out to deliver authentic baseball matches in classic and current stadiums that “feel so real you can smell the grass”, according to the official website.

The game features New York Yankees star outfielder Aaron Judge on its cover, and is available in four different editions. More on their contents, as well as pre-order incentives, after the jump.

Party Planet is a collection of mini-games of varied genres including action, puzzle, and sports, with a focus on multiplayer. According to a listing on the retailer’s website, a total of 30 family-friendly mini-games are included, and in 18 of those up to 4 players can join in competitive or cooperative play.

Party Planet is published by Mastiff Games and will launch for Nintendo Switch consoles. as a physical-only release. It is available exclusively through GameStop in North America.

EA Sports UFC 3 Box Art

EA Sports UFC 3 is the company’s third entry in their UFC mixed martial arts franchise. The game touts realistic and responsive animations (with over 5,000 new animations captured and rebuilt from the ground up), a G.O.A.T. Career Mode where players may build hype, create rivalries, and land big contracts, as well as new multiplayer modes for fast and fun fights: Stand & Bang, Submission Showdown, and Fight Now Custom.

EA Sports UFC 3 is available in Standard ($59.99) and Champions ($79.99) editions, both featuring UFC® lightweight champion Conor McGregor on their covers. More about their contents after the jump.

The Alliance Alive Box Art

The Alliance Alive is an upcoming role-playing game developed by Japanese studio Cattle Call, and published by Atlus in the West. It features an expansive world to explore, a storyline with nine different protagonist, and a turn-based battle system typical of 3DS RPGs.

The game’s story focuses on humanity’s fight for freedom against the daemons, who invaded their world a millennium ago and now rule over it with an iron fist. The player will have to establish and unite guilds throughout four realms while battling the daemons.

Shadow of the Colossus Box Art

Shadow of the Colossus is a fantasy action-adventure game that follows a lonely warrior on a quest to defeat the massive Colossi roaming the lands in order to bring a loved one back to life. Originally developed by Team Ico, it will see a release on PlayStation 4 courtesy of JAPAN Studio and Bluepoint Games, the same company which worked on the PS3 remaster.

Shadow of the Colossus for PS4 is said to be rebuilt from the ground up, with remade assets and improved controls. According to Sony, two modes will be available on PlayStation 4 Pro consoles: 1080p at 60FPS, or 4K at 30 FPS.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition Box Art

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is an updated version of the original 2016 title which brings numerous improvements to the lukewarmly received game. Among these are the new Arcade and Extra Battle modes, new V-Trigger moves, a redesigned UI, and all the Season 1 and Season 2 DLC characters, for the price of $39.99 on PlayStation 4 or Steam.

Existing Street Fighter 5 owners will have their version of the game automatically updated with the new features, although that does not include the DLC characters, which can be unlocked using in-game currency.

Metal Gear Survive Box Art

Metal Gear Survive is an action-adventure game developed and published by Konami. In a departure from the main series, it takes place in an alternate reality, where survivors of the Mother Base’s destruction in Ground Zeroes were transported through a wormhole. In a harsh desert world infested by crystal-headed zombies, they have to defend their base, farm for food, and craft the items necessary for survival.

Metal Gear Survive offers both a single-player campaign and a co-op mode for up to four players. The former focuses on stealthy exploration of the game’s world, while the latter has the players working together to accomplish various missions. The character progress and rewards are shared between the two modes.
