Shadow of the Colossus is a fantasy action-adventure game that follows a lonely warrior on a quest to defeat the massive Colossi roaming the lands in order to bring a loved one back to life. Originally developed by Team Ico, it will see a release on PlayStation 4 courtesy of JAPAN Studio and Bluepoint Games, the same company which worked on the PS3 remaster.
Shadow of the Colossus for PS4 is said to be rebuilt from the ground up, with remade assets and improved controls. According to Sony, two modes will be available on PlayStation 4 Pro consoles: 1080p at 60FPS, or 4K at 30 FPS.
Pre-order Bonuses
Pre-order Shadow of the Colossus ($39.99) to receive an in-game Life Sword (displayed above) and a PS4 theme at release. Pre-ordering digitally via PSN grants the theme immediately after checking out.
While not a pre-order bonus, it’s also worth a mention that owners of the PS3 version who have the trophy data from the game should automatically receive a set of PSN avatars.
