Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town (Special Editions & Differences)

Pioneers of Olive Town is the next entry in the fantasy farming game series Story of Seasons. The game’s protagonist leaves the big city for a quiet Olive Town and takes over their grandfather’s old farm, which has been reclaimed by nature. Land needs to be cleared, the old facilities repaired, and new ones built. Meanwhile, the nearby Olive Town has hundreds of unique festivities and events to offer.

The standard edition of Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town can be pre-ordered for $49.99 and includes just the game and the pre-order bonus, if applicable. There is also a retail Premium Edition and a digital Expansion Pass Set detailed after the jump.

Pre-order Bonuses

Pre-order Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town digitally via Nintendo eShop to receive an in-game Buffalo Costume. The set includes two items:

• Buffalo Costume
• Buffalo Headwear

Once acquired, the Buffalo Costume can be equipped by examining the wardrobe in your house or the fitting room in the salon.

Expansion Pass Set ($69.99 $62.99)

Another offer from Nintendo eShop is the Expansion Pass Set that includes the full Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town game plus an Expansion Pass with 14 sets of DLC, coming March 2021. The regular price of the set is stated to be $69.99, but pre-orders get a discount to $62.99.

Premium Edition ($59.99)

Fans who prefer more tangible items may be interested in the Premium Edition that retails for $10 more than the standard one. It comes with a cloth poster and an adorable pocket plushie of the game’s buffalo mascot. The previous Story of Seasons installments offered farm animal plushies as pre-order bonuses, but here it is a part of a limited Premium Edition.
