This game was released on March 22, 2011 and is no longer available to pre-order. Any incentives that were offered are listed below.

The Sims Medieval is an upcoming game in The Sims series by EA. While it will run on the same engine as The Sims 3, the gameplay is going to be quite different and feature some RPG elements like quests, crafting, magic and leveling up.

Like the title suggests, the game is going to take place in the Middle Ages. Players will be able to start their own kingdom and shape it to their liking by choosing an ambitious goal (such as building the most wealthy, enlightened, peaceful, or warlike realm). To achieve this, you will have to create heroes (Clerics, Wizards, Merchants, Bards, Knights and so on) and use them to do various quests.

The Sims Medieval pre-order bonus

The Sims Medieval preorder deal offered by EA is really a no-brainer. All you have to do is to reserve a copy of the game before the release date on March 22nd, and you will automatically get The Sims Medieval Limited Edition. It includes two exclusive outfits (Monarch and Executioner) and three bonus throne rooms with Dark Magic, Princess and Barbarian themes.

Is it just me..or are they changing Sims into something it isn’t?
Because…I read that you cant even change the exterior of your buildings anymore
And your sims dont get old.

Being an fan of the “RPG” genre, I like the idea of this off shoot of the Sims. While it should never replace the bread and butter that is Sims 3 (and the previous generations) it seems like a fun depart from the traditional game. Hey, maybe I can even use it to hook my friends into the genre so I’m not the only one chattering about how crazy my Sim is!!

That’s the thing it’s NOT sims 2 or 3 or even one.. It’s MEDIEVAL… It’s own genre for those who dont want the cars and buildings, and want some real entertainment and some challenge.. Sims Medieval offers that. Quests that you can do and diffrent empires and possibilities to unlock. It’s not a game for everyone mind you, but the medieval at heart who enjoy the challenge.
