Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is an updated version of the original 2016 title which brings numerous improvements to the lukewarmly received game. Among these are the new Arcade and Extra Battle modes, new V-Trigger moves, a redesigned UI, and all the Season 1 and Season 2 DLC characters, for the price of $39.99 on PlayStation 4 or Steam.

Existing Street Fighter 5 owners will have their version of the game automatically updated with the new features, although that does not include the DLC characters, which can be unlocked using in-game currency.

Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV is a virtual reality fishing game developed by Square Enix exclusively for the PSVR. Like the title suggests, it is based in the Final Fantasy XV universe, and has the player interact with Noctis, Ignis, Gladiolus, Prompto, and other characters as they travel around picturesque waterfronts and catch fish.

The game offers a story mode which eventually leads to an action-packed showdown with the titular Monster of the Deep, as well as a free fishing mode which allows the player to kick back and relax. There also are fishing challenges and tournaments.

EA’s latest installment in the Battlefront franchise brings improvements across the board, most notably a proper single-player campaign and a revamped multiplayer. The campaign’s story is told from the perspective of the Imperials and picks up right at the end of The Return of the Jedi; it is centered around an elite squad commander Iden Versio, who vows revenge on the Rebels following the destruction of the second Death Star.

The multiplayer in Battlefront II spans the entire Star Wars timeline and includes playable heroes from the prequels as well as the new trilogy. The game retains the original reboot’s 20 vs 20 multiplayer mode, but expands it to include “galactic-scale” space combat, a feature that was much requested by the fans. The Sims 4, the popular life simulation game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts, is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in November this year. While it has been out for Microsoft Windows since 2014, it has been an even longer time since a Sims title was last released for consoles.

The game is currently available for pre-order in Standard ($49.99) as well as a premium “Deluxe Party” ($59.99) editions, the contents of which are detailed after the jump. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is an action-adventure game developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by Warner Bros. It retains the core gameplay mechanics of its well-received predecessor, with the player controlling various Marvel characters with unique powers.

The villain threatening the Lego Marvel universe in this installment is the time-traveling Kang the Conqueror. Need for Speed Payback is a racing game developed by Ghost Games and published by EA. Its story centers around three distinct characters who team up to take down a criminal cartel that controls most of the fictional Fortune Valley the game is set in. Sonic Forces is the latest installment in Sega’s most popular action platformer franchise. It combines three gamestyles: Classic Sonic, which is played in a side-scrolling 2D view; Modern Sonic with 3D levels similar to those in Sonic Colors or Sonic Generations; and, lastly, Hero Character stages played with a custom character. There also are Tag Team levels, where Sonic and the hero character work together.

Developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision, Call of Duty: WWII returns to the series’ roots. Summon Night 6: Lost Borders is a tactical RPG developed by Media.Vision, and published by Gaijinworks outside Japan. The game takes place in Fillujah, a Cocoon World enveloped by a mysterious barrier where the three main characters – Raj, Amu and Ist – live in virtual isolation. This changes when strangers from another worlds begin appearing from the sky.

The game is notable for its huge (50+) character cast, emotional story, and a fully 3D battle system. It is also the first installment in the Summon Night series to boast HD graphics.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is an open-world action RPG set in Ancient Egypt. Like its name suggests, the game depicts the beginnings of the Assassin Brotherhood. Its protagonist is Bayek, the last warrior of the Medjay order, who have served as agents of the pharaoh and protected Egypt from threats for centuries until the Greek dynasty of Ptolemies took over. His wife Aya is also playable in certain missions.

Unlike the previous Assassin’s Creed installments, Origins features a RPG-like skill tree divided into Warrior, Hunter, and Seer categories. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is a first-person shooter developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda. The game picks up right after the events in The New Order, and centers around returning protagonist BJ Blazkowicz igniting a revolution in the Nazi-ruled America with help from some new allies. Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon is a fantasy action RPG developed by Gust and published by Koei Tecmo. The game’s storyline has been described as a “gothic fairy tale”. The Fractured But Whole is a sequel to the 2014 comedy RPG, The Stick of Truth. The New Kid returns as the protagonist, and this time the boys are playing superheroes. Players create their own hero, choosing from several classes and customizing their appearance, and join the Coon and Friends to fight crime which has been on the rise in the town. WWE 2K18 is the nineteenth installment in the WWE wrestling game series, which like its recent predecessors is developed by Yuke’s and Visual Concepts, and published by 2K Sports. Dungeons 3 is a dungeon management game developed by Realmforge Studios and published by Kalypso Media. Unlike in the previous installment, you play as a new character, dark elf priestess Thalya, who was enticed by the Dungeon Lord to become his chief lieutenant.

The Evil Within 2 is a survival horror game developed by Japanese studio Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda. It picks up three years after the events in the first instalmment, with the protagonist Sebastian Castellanos forced to partner with Mobius and re-enter the nightmarish world of STEM to save his believed-to-be-dead daughter, Lily.
