Dead or Alive 5 Pre-Order Bonuses (Special Editions & Differences)

It’s been a while since the last DoA game for home consoles, but gamers will soon be able to enjoy the latest offering from Team Ninja and Tecmo Koei. Dead or Alive 5 features gameplay improvements, a more realistic visual style, and interactive stages which allow the players to use the environment to their advantage. Judging by the information found in the NG3 executable, the new DoA installment has a roster of 25 fighters, including comfirmed guest characters Akira Yuki and Sarah Bryant from Virtua Fighter.

Pre-order bonuses

Dead or Alive franchise is known for its sexy female characters. It comes as no surprise that the pre-order bonus for the upcoming game is a set of skimpy swimsuits for the female cast. You can choose from the following two retailers:

• Amazon: DoA Devils black bunny swimsuit set for Christie, Tina, and Ayane.
• GameStop: DoA Angels white swimsuit set for Kasumi, Leifang and Hitomi.

And if you’d rather have all the costumes, consider getting the Collector’s Edition.

Collector’s edition

Dead or Alive 5 CE includes all swimsuits which are available as pre-order bonuses with the regular version, plus a hardcover art book, soundtrack CD, and a poster featuring all the fighters in DoA5. In addition, the game comes packaged in a fancy embossed steel case.

The release date of Dead or Alive 5 is set for September 25th, 2012 in North America, and three days later in Europe. The game will be published for PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
