MoH: Warfighter is an upcoming sequel to the 2010 Medal of Honor game. It uses an improved Frostbite 2 graphics engine and features additions like Dynamic Door Breach and destructible environments. The game is developed with help from actual Tier 1 operators and includes real world locations, making it one of the most authentic first-person shooters. The multiplayer gives you a selection off 6 classes and twelve factions, plus several different game modes to choose from.
Pre-order Warfighter before October 23rd and you will be upgraded to the Limited Edition at no additional cost. Said edition includes the following bonuses:
- Early multiplayer unlocks: U.S. Navy SEAL Sniper, McMillan TAC-300 sniper rifle, British SAS Spec Op faction.
- Battlefield 4 beta access (estimated to start in autumn 2013).
- Zero Dark Thirty map pack (Darra Gun Market and Chitral Compound multiplayer maps).
There are some exclusive bonuses to be had as well. Amazon is offering an exclusive tin case, Gamestop an early SFOD-D Point Man unlock, and Walmart $4.99 Vudu movie credits and the Global Warfighter documentary. Last but not least, you can get $20 in Reward Certificates if you pre-order Medal of Honor: Warfighter at BestBuy.
Digital Deluxe edition
Digital Deluxe is a premium edition of the game available exclusively at Origin. For the price of $69.99, PC gamers can get extra content, namely the digital soundtrack of Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and one more early multiplayer unlock: Russian Spetsnaz Alfa Group Heavy Gunner. You tell us if this stuff is worth the extra ten bucks.
The game is scheduled to release on October 23rd in the States and on the 25th in Europe, while Brits will have to wait a day longer until the 26th to play.
