Box Art

Criterion is back at the helm of Need for Speed in Need for Speed Unbound, an upcoming racing game developed by Criterion Software and published by Electronic Arts. With a new stylized approach to the game adding cartoon effects over ultra-realistic cars, Need for Speed Unbound looks to separate itself from other racing sims and does so in remarkable fashion

Rev up your engines this winter when the game arrives on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.

The game is set in the open world city known as lakeshore and embraces the old Need for Speed games with an emphasis on street racing and street culture.

The campaign sets you out on a journey of two friends who split paths after a robbery at your family auto shop leads to a priceless car being stolen from you. This event triggers your drive to rise up the ranks of the street racing underworld to win back your car.

Watch and hear Rapper A$AP Rocky’s influence on the game’s soundtrack and aesthetic with a whole game mode being dedicated to him known as the Takeover Scene.
