Atelier Ryza 2

Atelier Ryza 2 Box Art

This game was released on January 26, 2021 and is no longer available to pre-order. Any incentives that were offered are listed below.

Atelier Ryza 2 picks up three years after the events in Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and follows Ryza on a brand-new adventure. After leaving the Kurken Island for the royal capital of Ashra-am Baird, she reunites with her friends and explores ancient ruins while seeking to uncover the truth behind the mystery of the lost legends.

One of the new skills that Ryza can learn in the upcoming game is swimming. This opens up underwater areas for exploration, including a submerged dungeon, which has plenty of aquatic materials to collect. Charming new characters are also introduced, including the mysterious fairy Fi.

Physical Pre-Order Bonuses

Physical Atelier Ryza 2 pre-orders at select retailers will receive Blue Puni T-shirt and Beware of Puni! T-shirt costumes for Ryza to wear. At the time of writing, this bonus was listed on GameStop, Amazon, and Best Buy. (If you make a purchase through these links, we may get a share of the sale.)

This does not actually say which retailers will give the t-shirt pre-order bonus item code. Any insight? Is it just the NIS store?

I preordered the limited edition, that aside would the only way for me to get the deluxe edition costume be if I also buy it digitally?

Also what else do I have to do to get the summer fashion costume set? I couldn’t find it anywhere on the preorder page, and am worried I won’t get it

That is correct. If you want it bad enough, you’ll have to order it digital as well. I doubt you’ll see it return for purchase individually at any point in the future. They had small print on the last games pre-order image cards, saying that the stuff may be available for purchase at a later date, and led people on for years thinking it was possible still, but it never happened. This is just one of those pre-order situations where they wanna screw around with us, and you’ll have to pick and choose what you want the most. Which really sucks. It almost reminds me of back when Ubisoft use to pull that crap where every different retailer would have a different pre-order mission. At least they made those all obtainable eventually tho =/

I’m going to second everything said from the other Anon. We’re still notably waiting for the release of Divertimento’s Embrace costume that’s for Ryza in the first game. If you go to their website it’ll say that “- This item will be available for free at a later date.” WILL BE… available. It still isn’t and the second game is almost out.

I honestly believe they’re doing it on purpose because they know people who buy it physically will try to get all the costumes and the only way is to buy the most expensive path through… both physically and digitally. This drives sales and inflates them to a degree and that’s my theory why they’re doing it. Very anti-consumer.

Yeah, it sucks. I got Ryza 1 physical for Switch, but ended up pirating in on PC just to get the stupid digital-only bonuses. Wanna be anti-consumer? I’ll be anti-company.

The Summer Fashion costumes thats available for the 1st 2 weeks is actually free to download “without” purchase. Its not an early purchase bonus. KT tricked people into preordering. This wasnt the same problem with the 1st game because they stated it was a free download during the 1st 2 weeks. Not this time, which is why I preordered. I can just return the game and get it cheaper.

The physical release advertised the Puni-T shirt, and I pre-ordered and got the game through Amazon (physical edition), but I never got the code.

I emailed NIS, but they haven’t answered.

    What’s the deal?

I pre-ordered through Gamestop who didn’t ship mine out until Feb 10th after hounding them repeatedly screwing me out of getting the free items before the two weeks expired.

I remember getting play-asia to put this up on listing the pre-order summer costume set, then thanks to me they listed it up early I pre-ordered it for the summer costume bonus set , and when I got the game they stiffed me on the pre-order bonus and said there was limited stock available for it, and I said to them but I was the one that got you to list it in the first place have some respect and don’t bite the hand that feeds you. They could do nothing about it so my only option now is to close my account with them, its not the first time this has happened and I should of learned before this company
play-asia.com should not be trusted with any in game bonus items.

Yeah, I HATE when that stuff happens, especially with digital stuff. How the **** do you “run out of” digital codes!? Absurd!
