Developed by Ghost Games and published by EA, Need for Speed Heat is an open-world street racer that commemorates the 25th anniversary of the franchise. The game promises an authentic representation of urban car culture and deep vehicle customization.

NFS Heat is set in Palm City, which hosts a sanctioned competition called Speedhunters Showdown during the day, and is home to illicit street races at night. In the former, drivers earn Bank, and in the latter they compete with their Rep on the line while trying to avoid being taken down by the city’s corrupt police force.

FYI: There is an APP you can download to get a head start on designing your own car.
I’m not sure if it’s just for fun/practice, or if you can actually import it into the real game on Day 1.

It looks like EA confirmed you can import your designed vehicle into the game! It looks cool. Hopefully they include more options for customization at no additional cost.
