The Banner Saga 3 is the final installment of the award-winning viking RPG trilogy from independent developer Stoic. Much like its predecessors, it was successfully funded through KickStarter.

The game offers tactical turn-based combat, over 40 unique characters with different abilities, hand-drawn art, and meaningful player choice. The major choices from the previous games can also be imported into TBS3, or the player may start with the default state if they so choose.

The Banner Saga Trilogy: Bonus Edition

PS4 and Xbox One gamers new to the series might consider The Banner Saga: Bonus Edition, a $39.99 retail bundle which includes all three games, a mini artbook, collectible poster, “best of” soundtrack compilation, and the Horn of Lichbaen in-game item.

The release of The Banner Saga 3 has been moved up to July 24, 2018. The game will launch simultaneously for PC, Mac, and all three major consoles. Android and iOS versions are expected at a later date.
