The Sims 4, the popular life simulation game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts, is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in November this year. While it has been out for Microsoft Windows since 2014, it has been an even longer time since a Sims title was last released for consoles.
The game is currently available for pre-order in Standard ($49.99) as well as a premium “Deluxe Party” ($59.99) editions, the contents of which are detailed after the jump. In addition to the base game, the console version of The Sims 4 will include additional content that was added post-launch, according to EA.
Pre-order Bonuses
Pre-order The Sims 4 to receive the “Perfect Patio Stuff” DLC featuring hot tubs, more fashion, and bonus décor.
As an additional bonus, pre-ordering via PlayStation Store will grant you a PS4 theme.
Deluxe Party Edition
The digital Deluxe Party Edition ($59.99) of The Sims 4 includes the following:
- 3 Days Early Access (start playing on November 14)
- “Life of the Party” Digital Content
- “Up All Night” Digital Content
- “Awesome Animal Hats” Digital Content
The Sims 4 is scheduled to be released for consoles on November 17, 2017. Subscribers of EA Access may start playing the game as early as November 9.
