Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is a direct sequel to Troika’s acclaimed but troubled 2004 title. Developed by Hardsuit Labs and published by Paradox Interactive, who acquired White Wolf and thus the rights to Bloodlines in 2015, the game places the player into the role of a recently-turned fledgling vampire who finds themselves in the middle of a blood trade war in modern-day Seattle.
The Bloodlines‘ lead designer and writer Brian Mitsoda returns as lead narrative designer of the sequel. The game promises the same open-ended play and freedom of choice as the original, from the way the protagonist uses (or abuses) their newfound vampiric powers, to which of the city’s factions they curry favor with.

Originally scheduled for March 2020, the release of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been postponed to later in the year. The game will launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC as well as next-gen consoles.
