Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Box Art

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is a direct sequel to Troika’s acclaimed but troubled 2004 title. Developed by Hardsuit Labs and published by Paradox Interactive, who acquired White Wolf and thus the rights to Bloodlines in 2015, the game places the player into the role of a recently-turned fledgling vampire who finds themselves in the middle of a blood trade war in modern-day Seattle.

The Bloodlines‘ lead designer and writer Brian Mitsoda returns as lead narrative designer of the sequel. The game promises the same open-ended play and freedom of choice as the original, from the way the protagonist uses (or abuses) their newfound vampiric powers, to which of the city’s factions they curry favor with.

Thinblood… Can’t you just make the main character like a sleeping vampire who wakes up after a couple hundred years an let us pick are clan.

But the devs have said you can pick a clan. No idea how that works, but if you can commit Diablerie that would be cool.

It just feels that being a lesser vampire restricts the fun of it all’ at least in the first game you where just a newbie vamp in 2 your below even that being weaker as a newbie thinblood i just think it would be more fun if the main character was not thinblood’ can thinbloods even make ghouls thats the sort of fun i would think a thinblood wouldn’t be able to do and diablerie seems to be the only way in my opinion that you can even be considered a powerful vamp as thinblood unless your chosen clan infuses you with there blood or turns you again lol. We shall see i hope the whole thinblood is a jest on the devs part.

No console preorders, no release date, barely any gameplay videos. There’s something bigly wrong with this game behind the scenes.
