R.B.I. Baseball 20 is an officially licensed baseball game from MLB Advanced Media. It offers modes such as Franchise, Exhibition, and Home Run Derby. Compared to its predecessor, R.B.I. 20 brings new controls, improved player models, a broadcast-inspired Pitching Camera, and more authenticity owing to improved stealing and pickoffs, revamped MLB ballparks, tailored cutscene animations, and better crowd behavior.
The cover of the upcoming game is graced by Milwaukee Brewers Outfielder and 2x All-Star Christian Yelich.
Football Manager 2020 puts the player in charge of a soccer club of their choice and tasks them with signing athletes, training, managing finances, and more, with the ultimate goal of growing the team into champions. New features in FM20 include a Development Center for unearthing talent, a Club Vision board that lists the club’s short- and long-term objectives, and improvements to backroom staff.
Much like its predecessors, the game will be available in several versions: the core Football Manager 2020 for Windows PCs and Mac with all the bells and whistles ($49.99), the streamlined FM20 Touch for Nintendo Switch ($29.99), and the similarly simplified FM20 Mobile for iOS and Android.
WWE 2K20 is the latest installment in the long-running wrestling game series from Visual Concepts and 2K Sports. It introduces a story-driven mode, 2K Showcase: The Women’s Evolution, that follows the Four Horsewomen (Becky Lynch, Bayley, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks), allows the players to pick a female wrestler in MyCAREER and Mixed Tag matches, and brings streamlined controls, helping newcomers jump into the franchise.
Also new in WWE 2K20 is a service model called WWE 2K20 Originals that will deliver downloadable post-launch content at a price. FIFA 20 is the latest installment in EA’s popular football simulator franchise, bringing a number of officially-licensed leagues and teams as well as new gameplay features. A system EA calls Authentic Game Flow grants AI players a better understanding of positioning on the pitch to better support the user-controlled player, and new ball physics are claimed to elevate the gameplay to new levels of realism.
Perhaps the most exciting new feature is the FIFA Street-inspired Volta game mode, which involves 3v3, 4v4, or 5v5 matches with or without goalkeepers taking place in various urban locations around the world. There is a Volta story mode similar to The Journey from the previous FIFA installments, as well as an online Volta League.
The latest installment in EA Sports’ hockey simulator series makes NHL stars more authentic with new Signature Shots powered by the company’s Real Player Motion Tech. The biggest plays are said to look even better thanks to a revamped broadcast package, and there are three new game modes to boot. HUT Squad Battles feature weekly teams to challenge for unique rewards, ONES can now be played with friends on the couch, and the Eliminator offers a brand new battle royale format competition.

eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 is the latest association football simulator from Konami. Among the game’s licensed clubs are names like Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Juventus, with whom Konami has an exclusive deal.
In addition to updated rosters, PES 2020 also brings gameplay enhancements, such as the new Finesse Dribble system and smarter AI. The Master League has been revamped, and an entirely new Matchday mode has been added, with competition events linked to real derby match schedules.
Latest in 2K’s long-running basketball simulator series, NBA 2K20 is said to deliver best-in-class graphics and gameplay, fan-favorite game modes, and improved player control and customization. The open-world Neighborhood mode seen in previous titles is making a return as well. NBA 2K20 also includes WNBA for the first time in the franchise.
The cover athlete for the Standard and Deluxe editions of the game is the six-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis of New Orleans Pelicans, while the Legend Edition cover is graced by the retired three-time NBA champion Dwayne Wade.
The latest installment in EA Sports’ ever-popular Madden NFL franchise brings a personalized career mode called Face of the Franchise: QB1 that allows the players to create their own college quarterback and play through the College Football National Championship playoff, the NFL Combine, the NFL Draft, and eventually as a starter Quarterback for an NFL team. Something the developers call the Scenario Engine generates unique scenarios and challenges along the way. Also new is an ability progression system – Superstar X-Factor – that showcases the special abilities of the most exciting NFL stars.
The cover athlete for Madden NFL 20 is Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is said to have inspired the new career campaign.
Monster Jam: Steel Titans is a monster truck game based on the real-life motorsport event. Developed by Rainbow Studios and published by THQ Nordic, it includes 12 stadiums, a massive open world, and a variety of modes such as Head2Head, Freestyle, Waypoint, and timed destruction.
Thanks to a partnership with Feld Entertainment, Monster Jam Steel Titans puts the player behind the wheel of 25 of fan-favorite monster trucks including Grave Digger, Max-D, El Toro Loco, and others. According to the developers, the game boasts realistic truck physics and visuals.
MLB The Show 19 is a baseball simulation game developed by SIE San Diego Studio and published by Sony exclusively for the PS4. The notable additions compared to its predecessor are the overhauled defensive system, and two new game modes called “Moments” and “March to October”, with more details to be announced as the game draws closer to launch.
Starring on the cover of MLBTS 19 is six-time MLB All-Star Bryce Harper.

WWE 2K19 is a wrestling game developed like its predecessors by Yuke’s and Visual Concepts, and published by 2K Sports. As announced during the game’s live press conference, the cover star for the upcoming installment is the current WWE Champion AJ Styles.
Among the announcements is also the Million Dollar Challenge, which involves beating a new mode in the upcoming WWE 2K19, making a promo video of yourself, and, should you be chosen, winning a tournament against three other finalists. That’s not all, as in the last step you’ll be facing none other than AJ Styles himself. Win a WWE 2K19 match against him, and you walk away with a million dollars.
FIFA 19 is a soccer simulator developed in collaboration by EA Vancouver and EA Romania studios. It is EA’s first game in a decade to boast the official Champions League license, snagging it from the rival Pro Evolution Soccer series after the expiration of Konami’s partnership with the UEFA. In addition to Champions League, two other modes added are Europa League and UEFA Super Cup.
The cinematic story mode introduced in FIFA 17, The Journey, will continue in the latest installment. Titled The Journey: Champions, it will feature Alex Hunter’s journey to win the Champions League.
NHL 19 is the latest ice hockey simulator from EA. One of the title’s most touted features is RPM (Real Player Motion) technology that promises better animations and more responsiveness in acceleration, high-speed skating, and pin-point turns. Other additions include outdoor rinks, new NHL ONES and NHL Alumni Pro-Am modes, as well as over 200 playable legends of NHL. The game also brings over 900 new customization items.

NBA 2K19 is a basketball simulator developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. Featuring LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers as the cover athlete for its premium edition, the upcoming installment is said to celebrate 20 years of sports gaming, from best-in-class graphics and gameplay to immersive open-world Neighborhood mode, and continue to push the limits bringing gaming one step closer to real-life basketball excitement and culture.
NBA Live 19 is a basketball simulator developed by EA Tiburon and published by EA Sports. The game boasts Real Player Motion technology, a reimagined animation system which is said to improve responsiveness and provide more authenticity, as well as a new head-to-head gameplay feature called 1v1 Everywhere. The One career mode makes a return, starting from high school and following the player’s rise to stardom as they progress through The League and The Streets modes.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 is the latest installment in Konami’s soccer simulator series. The company promises to increase the number of authentic leagues and stadiums, and is bringing a number of licenses (including exclusively the Russian Premier League), albeit relinquishing the deal with UEFA for the Champions League, Europa League, and the UEFA Super Cup to FIFA 19 of the rival franchise.
PES 2019 introduces 11 new skill traits, bringing the total up to 39 and thus increasing player uniqueness. Player individuality is the most touted feature of the upcoming game, one that Konami claims will help create “Magic Moments” on the pitch. A new stamina system means the athletes will now show clear visual signs when fatigued. Outside the pitch, there are several quality of life improvements such as improved negotiation system and budget management.
Madden 19 is an American football simulator based on the 2018/19 NFL season. According to EA Sports, it builds on the success of the previous installment, bringing some solid improvements to the table. One of these is a more realistic animation technology EA calls Real Player Motion, already present in FIFA 18 and UFC 3, which gives more personality to the players and improves responsiveness.
New additions also include a custom draft class creator in Franchise, all-new player positional archetypes, and upgraded zone coverage AI. There is also a new skill point system, said to provide a more seamless and balanced method for player development.
MLB The Show 18 is a sports game developed by SIE San Diego and published by Sony exclusively for their PS4 consoles. This new installment sets out to deliver authentic baseball matches in classic and current stadiums that “feel so real you can smell the grass”, according to the official website.
