The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind (Special Editions & Differences)

The latest expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online adds Vvardenfell: the main island of the Morrowind province, and the largest new zone yet. As the game is set 700 years before the single-player title The Elder Scrolls III, the expansion portrays the region at its prime.

With the addition of the Vvardenfell area, Morrowind also brings a new class, Warden, who possesses powerful nature magic and a War Bear companion. There is also a new 4v4v4 PvP arena format called Battlegrounds for fast-paced, competitive matches. Thanks to the One Tamriel system, Morrowind‘s content will be appropriately scaled to the player’s level.

New players can purchase the Standard Edition ($59.99), which includes both the Morrowind expansion and The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited base game. A digital Upgrade Edition ($39.99) is available to existing players.

Pre-order bonuses

Pre-order Morrowind to receive the “Discovery Pack” containing these in-game items:

• Exclusive Warden Costume: an exclusive costume available for all classes that matches the Warden’s outfit as seen in the announcement trailer.
• Dwarven War Dog Pet: A unique armored non-combat in-game pet.
• Treasure Maps: maps detailing the location of Vvardenfell’s greatest rewards.
• Dwarven Crown Crate: a special Crown Crate with a chance to contain Dwarven-themed mounts, pets, costumes, and more.

• Dwarven Spider Pet: a personal Dwarven Spider is ready for adventure through Vvardenfell.

• Character Emotes: celebrate victories in the Battlegrounds with this bundle of exclusive emotes.
• Discovery Pack: all the content available as a pre-order bonus with the regular edition.

Existing players can purchase the Digital Collector’s Edition Upgrade for $59.99.

Collector’s Edition

The boxed Collector’s Edition of Morrowind ($99.99) includes all the aforementioned digital content, plus the following collectibles:

• Dwarven Colossus Statue: recreated with the help of sacred Dwarven texts, this 12″ tall replica of the Colossus that starred in the announcement trailer and Naryu’s Journal stands ready to defend your treasures.
• Naryu’s Journal: a full-color, large-format book chronicling Morag Tong assassin Naryu’s pursuit of a conspiracy across Tamriel. Illustrated with a broad array of concept art.
• Map of Morrowind: chart your adventures throughout Vvardenfell with this handy map.
• Exclusive Game Case: limited edition metallic case bearing the marks of Vivec and the Tribunal.

Of course, the base game is also included in this edition, so new players can enter Tamriel as soon as the game is out.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind expansion is scheduled to launch on June 6, 2017.
