The Fractured But Whole is a sequel to the 2014 comedy RPG, The Stick of Truth. The New Kid returns as the protagonist, and this time the boys are playing superheroes. Players create their own hero, choosing from several classes and customizing their appearance, and join the Coon and Friends to fight crime which has been on the rise in the town. There is also a competing group, Freedom Pals, which split off from Cartman’s organization resulting in a civil war between the superheroes.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole makes the combat more complex by adding a tactical grid, which means the players now have to mind their positioning and use the environment to their advantage. Also new to the game is a crafting system which allows the players to create their own equipment.

Watch Dogs 2 Box Art

Watch Dogs 2 is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal. The sequel features a new protagonist – a young hacker named Marcus Holloway – and takes place in a fictionalized version of San Francisco Bay Area.

Through the citywide ctOS system, Marcus can hack anything from vehicles to smartphones, and more. He is also equipped with tools like the quadcopter drone which can be used for scouting and remote hacking. The game supports different playstyles titled Stealth, Aggressor, and Trickster, and offers according items and upgrades for each.

Multiplayer is also making a return in the sequel, and it is more seamless than before. Players can meet up without leaving their single-player experience and cooperate to accomplish missions together, using basic emotes for communication. Besides the co-op, there also are separate, competitive multiplayer modes.

Titanfall 2 Box Art

Titanfall 2 is a first-person shooter which, like its predecessor, is developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA. New to the game is a full-fledged single-player campaign, telling the story of a lone Militia rifleman stranded behind IMC enemy lines and teaming up with a with a veteran Vanguard-class titan against overwhelming odds.

As expected, most of the focus still remains on the multiplayer, where the developers are bringing six mech classes, improved customization, additional modes, and new pilot abilities including a grappling hook which adds extra mobility to the already fast-paced gameplay. There is also a new feature called Networks which aim is to provide an easy way to team up with friends for social or competitive play.

Dishonored 2 Box Art

Dishonored 2 is an action-stealth game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda. It gives the players a choice of stepping back into the shoes of Corvo Attano, the protagonist of the previous installment, or playing as Emily Kaldwin, the daughter of the Empress. Both characters have their own set of powers, gadgets, and uniquely-tuned weapons. Unlike in the original Dishonored, the protagonists are also fully voiced.

The missions in Dishonored 2 can be approached with stealth or violence, and the skill upgrade trees as well as bonecharm crafting allow the players to tailor their character to suit their playstyle. In addition, the sequel is said to have more in-depth gameplay and difficulty options aimed at those looking for a more challenging (or easier) experience.

God Eater 2: Rage Burst Box Art

God Eater 2: Rage Burst is an enhanced version of the 2013 action RPG God Eater 2, developed by Japanese studio Shift and published by Namco Bandai in the West. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where gigantic monsters called Aragami seek to devour humanity. Only elite warriors called God Eaters can stand up to the threat by using God Arcs – weapons infused with Oracle Cells taken from Aragami themselves.

The expanded game adds another story chapter as well as new characters, enemies and weapon types. It also introduces a new gameplay mechanic called Blood Rage, which allows the player to use their Awakening Gauge to gain various buffs.

Assetto Corsa Box Art

Assetto Corsa is a racing sim developed by an Italian studio KUNOS Simulazioni and published by 505 Games for the current-gen consoles. The game prides itself on realism and features an advanced physics system, over ninety authentic cars reproduced in collaboration with automotive manufacturers, and more than twenty track configurations recreated using laser scan technology. There is both single player and multiplayer functionality, with different game modes available.

Assetto Corsa has been out on PC since 2014, and several “Dream Packs” containing new circuits and cars have been released for the platform. All of these will be included as part of the base game ($49.99) on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Gran Turismo Sport is a racing game developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony for their PS4 platform. Like the previous installments in the series, the game aims to provide a realistic driving experience and accurately recreated high-performance cars. Campaign, Sports, and Arcade modes are included with both online and offline play. GT Sport is also fully compatible with the PlayStation VR headset.

What’s new in the upcoming title is a focus on structured competitive play and eSports. There will be two FIA-sanctioned online championships, one for countries and the other for manufacturers, with the winners awarded at the FIA’s annual prize-giving ceremony in Paris just like real drivers are. Not only that, players will be able to earn a Digital Race License recognized by real-world motorsport clubs in 22 different countries, according to the game’s producer and professional racer Kazunori Yamauchi.
